Foamstarsis a 4v4 online party shooter game developed by Square Enix. It was madeavailable on the PS Pluson release and allows players to control an array of characters in Bath Vegas.
The game revolves around characters using foam guns to fully cover enemy teams and knock them out to win. There are tons of game modes available that allow players to try out different characters and decide who best suits their playstyle. The game has astarting roster of 8, but not all characters, such asThe Baristador and MeI T, are available from the start of the game.
How To Unlock The Baristador And MeI T
Foamstarshas 8 playable characters in the game, out of which six are available from the start. The two unavailable characters areThe BaristadorandMeI T. The Baristador is a long-range support-style character who uses his long-range hose weapon to create a path for himself and his teammates. Unlocking this character is simple, as all you have to do is level up toLevel 3, and you will acquire him as a reward. To level up, you will need to play multiple games in eitherthe Versus Online modeor the Foamstars Story Missions.Completing Weekly challenges requires you to complete a few tasks, but can earn you a lot of XPand unlock the character faster by doing so.
MeI T is a long-range Lock-On style character that uses a long-range weapon, which shoots out foam in the form of homing missiles. She is available on the first tier of the Premium Pass, “Starry Pop.” This allows the player to instantly unlock her and start using her after buying the Pass. However,if you are not planning to buy the Premium Pass, then do not worry, as you can still unlock her by grinding your Pass Level all the way to Level 31. Playing Versus Online and Story Missions can help you reach Level 31 of the Pass much quicker.
The Baristador And Mel T Abilities
Both unlockable characters are Long-range style but have different playstyles forFoamstarsplayers to make use of.
The Baristador
The Baristador has an L1 skill called theSuper City Roast. This skill allows the player to send outToraja, which instantly creates a path of foam ahead and around the area for the whole party to use.
His R1 skill, theBitter Drip, allows him to shoot missiles that create a wall of Froth in the selected area. This skill is a very long-range move and can highly benefit the entire team in risky situations.
Finally, his Triangle Super Star Skill is calledLatte Art Royale. This move allows the player to throw Toraja high up in the air and select a giant circular area where you they unleash a foam laser.
MeI T
MeI T has an L1 skill called theSweet Campaign. This skill allows the player to send outCandy,who fires loads of Ice cream in the forward direction. This blocks off the enemy team from engaging from an area until Candy despawns.
Her R1 skill, theSumptuous Promo, allows her to aim and fire ice cream missiles that splash in a small area upon impact.
Finally, her Triangle Super Star Skill is called theForce Beam Tasting. As part of this move, the player can control MeI T while she fires a cream laser.
