Hyper Scapeplayers got some exciting news duringtoday’s Ubisoft Forward event, where the game devs revealed that a new limited-time mode would be added: Turbo Mode. They showed off how high-stakes and high-octane the mode will be, and that’s somethingHyper Scapeplayers may be interested in looking into.

Hyper Scapeis a fast-paced FPS battle royale that is going to have its pace amped up even higher with thearrival of Turbo Mode on September 15. Battle royales are a popular genre right now, and while games likeFortniteandFall Guysare currently dominating the scene, there’s still room for newer titles with unique spins likeHyper Scape.

Turbo Mode will up the stakes for many players by putting all gear at maximum level, closing zones quicker, decreasing the time required for Crown Victories, and increasing health regeneration speed. This will offer a clear advantage for all players involved, which will make individual skill andchoice of weapon inHyper Scapemore important than ever if players want to come out on top.

AlthoughHyper Scapemay have beenovershadowed by the massive popularity ofFall Guys, it’s clear Ubisoft wants to make its battle royale more desirability with a fast and intense game mode. What makes this title unique is that it pits players against each other on a shrinking map, yet wins can be obtained not just by surviving to the end, but by holding onto the Crown for 45 seconds. In Turbo Mode, players will have to hold onto the Crown for a shorter amount of time to win.

This isn’t the first limited-time modeHyper Scapeplayers have gotten to experience, asFaction War Modewas available last month in part of Ubisoft’s bid to putHyper Scapehigher on the charts. It’s hard for any game to compete with something likeFall Guys, but it’s hard to say Ubisoft isn’t putting in the effort. Even if these efforts don’t raise the playerbase immensely, they at least promise to be interesting for existing players to experiences.

Turbo Mode won’t stick around forever, much like Faction War before it, butHyper Scapeplayers can enjoy this limited-time mode starting on September 15 while they await the announcement of content coming in Season 2.

Hyper Scapeis available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and is slated to launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
