16Kokichi Muta/Mechamaru
A Sickly Curse User with Depth And Complexity
Kokichi Muta is one of the second-years at Jujutsu High and is one of the most interesting students of all. Muta has a horrible affliction that renders him incapable of walking around, so he uses his Mechamaru puppets to fight against his enemies with Cursed Energy.
Ultimate Mechamaru is a fascinating fighter and has some of the most convenient abilities in the whole series. Muta truly shines once he is cured of his affliction and summons Ultimate Mechamaru - Mode: Absolute, which almost destroys Mahito for good. This fight sequence gives fans one of the best fight scenes inJujutsu Kaisen.
15Choso
A Death Painting Womb, Who’s Mix Of Cursed Spirit And Human Blood Gives Him Immense Power
Choso makes a strong impression in Season 2, showing off his strength to the point where Yuji is incapacitated. His blood powers are fearsome and incapacitate the protagonist long enough for him to ingest a bunch of fingers and become possessed by Sukuna. However, before he can land the killing blow, this Death Painting Womb discovers that Yuji is his half-brother, prompting him to stop his assault.
What follows are some highly entertaining interactions between the two as Choso essentially treats Yuji like his baby brother. Following the second season, there are many moments featuring Choso in the manga that establish him as one of thebestJJKcharacters, including the revelation behind their brotherly bond anda heroic momentfeaturing this beloved character that fans can’t wait to see animated.
14Jogo
A Fiery Special-Grade Cursed Spirit Whose Fire Powers Are Not To Be Trifled With
Despite being a punching bag more often than not, Jogo’s doggedness and immense fiery powers help him stake a claim as one ofJJK’s best characters. He gets his time to shine in the Shibuya Incident when he uses his Disaster Flames technique to incapacitate a bunch of powerful jujutsu sorcerers while also taking part in a successful plan to seal Gojo. However, it was clear his time was up when he decided to take on Sukuna himself.
The promise of glory blinds him, and he engages in a duel to the death with a sorcerer he has no hope of defeating. After toying with Jogo for a while, Sukuna whips out pyrokinetic powers of his own and burns Jogo to a crisp, culminating in a cruel end for one ofJJK’s best characterswho had the potential to entertain the audience whenever he played a central role in the proceedings taking place on-screen.
13Kenjaku
Has Stayed Alive For Over A Thousand Years By Transplanting His Brain Into Others
It was clear afterJujutsu Kaisen 0that Geto was dead for good, which prompted Gojo to wonder how his friend came back from the dead. During the Shibuya Incident, it’s revealed that another cursed user has used his technique to transplant their brain into this cursed sorcerer, with this chilling revelation coming when Geto’s body removes his scalp to reveal a disturbing brain that’s at the head of this heinous operation to force humanity to evolve and make Cursed Users the norm as opposed to the minority.
This has poised Kenjaku to becomeone of the best villains inJujutsu Kaisen, with this unique power having a ton of ramifications that fans are yet to be made aware of. While he can use the powers of the bodies he inhabits, his inherent cursed techniques are yet to be shown in the anime.
12Toge Inumaki
Cursed Speech Power Renders Him Unable To Speak Out Of Fear
Toge Inumaki is one of Jujutsu High’s most powerful sorcerers, but his ability takes a heavy toll on his physical well-being. Inumaki uses Cursed Speech, which essentially allows him to say anything and make it happen. But, Inumaki doesn’t rely solely on his Cursed Speech ability. He can also fight in hand-to-hand combat to save his strength.
To avoid cursing others by accident, Inumaki uses his own speech patterns, which are made up of rice ball ingredients. Inumaki had significant roles inJujutsu Kaisen, with one of his greatest roles being with Yuta Okkotsu inJujutsu Kaisen 0.
11Toji Fushiguro
Megumi’s Father Boasts Immense Strength And Technique
It takes something special for a person with no cursed energy whatsoever to stand toe-to-toe against some of the toughest Jujutsu sorcerers around. Gojo may not have reached his prime yet, but the fact that Toji was powerful enough to push this sorcerer to the brink of death is a testament to his immense power.
Even in the Shibuya Incident, Toji is brought back for a fateful reunion with his son, which is oddly touching. Despite not getting a ton of screen time, Toji made a splash thanks to his power and the connection he shared with Megumi.
10Kento Nanami
A Calm, Cool, Collected Jujutsu Sorcerer Who Harbors Immense Power
Many fans mourned Nanami’s demise at the hands of Mahito in the Shibuya Incident, and understandably so. This character oozed class and level-headedness, making him a treat to witness onscreen.
After being caught by the full brunt of Jogo’s Disaster Flames, a weakened Nanami was hunted down by Mahito, who killed the sorcerer in front of Itadori’s eyes. It was a shocking moment that set the stage for an amazing confrontation between Itadori and Mahito in the final stages of the arc.
9Aoi Todo
A Charismatic Brute Obsessed With Pretty Women
Aoi Todo is one of the very first third-year Jujutsu High students whom viewers meet in the anime. Todo is also regarded as one of the strongest third-years, while some sayhe is the strongest.
Todo can clap his hands and swap places with another person, a power that he uses to fight Hanami with Itadori. Todo’s fascinating personality and power make him a beloved character inJujutsu Kaisen.He is famous for always asking his friends and enemies what they look for in a partner.
8Mahito
A Special-Grade Cursed Spirit, As Sadistic As They Come
A psychotic cursed spirit with a flair for death and destruction, Mahito is a character fans love to hate. Despite the many atrocities he has committed, the villain’s reckless abandon and callousness make him an entertaining personality to watch onscreen.
His fight with Itadori is an excellent battle that pushes the protagonist to his limits, and Itadori eventually defeats Mahito with the help of his friends. However, before he’s able to finish the job, the imposter pretending to be Geto consumes the spirit and announces the Culling Game in an unnerving manner.
7Yuta Okkotsu
One Of The Series' Most Powerful Characters
Introduced in theJujutsu Kaisen 0film, Yuta Okkotsu was a weak human with a curse. Rita, his childhood crush, gave him a ring to promise they would be married one day in the future, but she died when they were still children. Yuta was then forced to walk around with a cursed Rita, who was a very powerful spirit.
After getting the attention of Gojo and Jujutsu High,Yuta trained hardand eventually brought out his potential when fighting against Suguru Geto. With Rita’s help, Yuta has become one of the strongest sorcerers to date.
