Summary
Jujutsu Kaisenhas continued to maintain its incredible intensity over the course of the last few months. Fans were treated to an incredible clash between Gojo and Sukuna and it was immediately followed by a string of high-intensity clashes including characters such as Kashimo, and now, Takaba as well. Currently, Jujutsu Kaisen is focusing on the fight between Takaba and Kenjaku and it goes without saying that these fights have been nothing short of spectacular for the fans to enjoy.
Fans already know thatJujutsu Kaisenis not a series to shy away from killing off its main characters and, it appears that in the latest chapter of the story,JJKchapter 243, the author has once again managed to shock every single fan of the manga by, apparently, killing off a major character and this character is none other than Kenjaku.
The Many Deaths In The Culling Game Arc
The Culling Game arc has seen many incredible characters inJJKdie. Undoubtedly, the most significant of these deaths was that of Gojo Satoru. Fans know that Gojo is an incredibly beloved character and quite easily the face of the entirety of JJK. After his return in the Culling Game arc, Gojo engaged in a battle against Sukuna. This fight was incredibly intense and continued for quite a few months. At the end of this fight, Gojo was the one who ended up losing his life. Of course, the decisions that the author took to get to this point were largely questionable among the fans, however, the result would certainly not change.Gojo ended up dyingand from there onwards, the story went on to kill quite a few more characters.
Shortly after Gojo, Kashimo also followed him. He challenged Sukuna and pushed him to reincarnate into his true body. This reincarnation led to him taking his true form and, subsequently, finishing off Kashimo. The story then killed off Hezenoki as well and this death appears to have been followed by two more important deaths in the latest chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen. It appears that Gege Akutami intends to keep up his death streak by killing off the vast majority of the important characters in the story in the Culling Game Arc and this is to be expected, given that JJK is now in its final stages and it is time for the story to meet its conclusion very soon.
Kenjaku Vs Takaba’s Conclusion
As mentioned earlier,JJKchapter 243 focused on the conclusion ofthe fight between Kenjaku and Takaba.These two characters started their fight a few chapters ago and, much to the surprise of the fans, this fight lasted for quite a long time. Fans did not expect this fight to drag so much, however, it certainly did and much of it had to do with Takaba and his fighting spirit as a comedian. Takaba awakened his cursed technique to the absolute maximum recently and, immediately after he did so, Kenjaku couldn’t help but get drawn and. He called this part of Takaba’s technique Soul Resonance. This Soul Resonance made Kenjaku forcibly engage with Takaba in the various acts that he brought to life using his imagination.
In the previous chapter, the last stage of Takaba’s act was set when he, along with Kenjaku, was to do comedy on stage.JJKchapter 243 took things from there onwards and the two were able to put on the grandest of all shows. The show was deemed a success by Takaba and for him, this was the proudest moment of his life. However, towards the end of it, he realized that this was the end and they had peaked as comedians. Takaba then looked back on his life and realized that it was the best thing that he did and he did not want it to end.
In a very strange transition, Takaba then ended up passing away and his death appeared to be very peaceful. Shortly afterwards, Kenjaku exclaimed that Takaba was surely a very funny guy and he intended to continue on his quest, however, that is precisely when something shocking happened to him.
Yuta Okkotsu Kills Pseudo Geto
The biggest death that took place inJujutsu Kaisenchapter 243 was that of Kenjaku, or, to be more precise, Pseudo Geto. Fans do not know if Kenjaku is dead just yet, however, Geto certainly has been freed. Immediately after Kenjaku walked away from the fight against Takaba,Yuta snuck up on him from behind and lobbed his head right off.This was quite confusing for Kenjaku, given that Yuta is a character with quite a lot of cursed energy. For him to sneak up on someone should not be possible, especially when one talks about a character with as much proficiency with cursed energy as Kenjaku. However, Kenjaku then realized that all this was made possible by none other than Takaba.
His soul resonance dragged Takaba inside his own world and this prevented him from sensing cursed energy around him. Yuta had planned this all along and was waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. When the opportunity presented itself, Yuta simply snuck up behind Kenjaku and sliced his head right off. At this point, Kenjaku realized that he had lost the battle and that he was now at death’s door.
Kenjaku’s Death In Jujutsu Kaisen
Fans know that Kenjaku is one of the main villains inJJKand arguably the biggest villain in the story. Even though Sukuna is the most powerful villain,Kenjaku is the one who has orchestrated everythingfor generations and masterminded the entire Culling Game to ensure that humanity gets to evolve. However, in what appears to be quite a strange turn of events, Kenjaku has been stopped from his plan midway in a very anticlimactic manner. While Kenjaku’s death hasn’t been confirmed just yet, it is very ominous for him to mention that he was stopped right when he was so close to his goal and that someone will inherit his will and finish his job for him. This essentially means that Kenjaku has already given up in many ways on his plan and that he has forfeited his life for good.
The implication is that Kenjaku has well and truly died and if that is true, this might just be one of the most disappointing deaths inJJKas a whole. However, fans have to wait and see how this progresses. The fact is, Kenjaku has not been exorcized just yet and even though Yuta sliced off Suguru’s head, Kenjaku is a brain and would need to be stabbed with cursed energy to be exorcized. It all depends on how Yuta takes it from here in the next chapter ofJJKand fans are incredibly excited to witness that. The upcoming chapter could make orbreak the character that is Kenjakuand fans are holding their breath to see what ends up happening as the story continues.
