With only a few weeks left in Season 6, there’s been a wave of new leaks coming out forApex Legends. Some of those leaks and rumors were recently confirmed in themost recent Stories from the Outlands trailerwhich features the newest character, Dr. Mary ‘Horizon’ Somers. Hired to help solve an energy crisis on the planet Olympus, players witnessed her journey and eventual betrayal by her assistant. With a few recent rumors put to bed, another as risen once again potentially linkingApex Legendsto Respawn’s other big franchise,Titanfall.

The latestpotential season 7 leak forApex Legendscomes from another datamine by Biast12, a well-known leaker who has a number of reveals under their belt at this point. While their Twitter account is set to private, the details of what they uncovered made its way to theApex LegendssubReddit, showcasing what appears to be a lever action rifle. It didn’t take long for the community to piece together that this weapon is actually the 30-30 Winchester Lever Action Rifle. Since the picture appeared, the community has continued to speculate on what kind of weapon it could be, with some theorizing it’s going to be an assault rifle that uses heavy ammo.

Others have tried to downplay this discovery as nothing more thana weapon skin for the Peacekeeper, however, there are a few key differences which seemingly disprove that. This weapon features a magazine right behind the hand grip and it appears to have a level near the trigger that makes it a repeating rifle. The barrel is also somewhat slimmer than the Peacekeeper and the stock at the back looks like it’s attached rather than being an extension of the gun.

Leaks are nothing new to this game as each season seems to bring about new details prior to the developers wanting it to get out. While the tables have turned on the community a couple of times, including the character Forge getting killed off by Revenant, sometimes the dataminers prove to be too good at digging through the game’s files. Biast12 also recentlydiscovered 8 characters that have yet to be addedto the game including heavily rumored characters like Blisk and Ash. It seems Respawn Entertainment may have a few moreTitanfallsurprises in store for the future of the game.
