The tweet came from the leaker account Okami13_ and it was kept really simple. Okami claims thatCOD2020 is still on schedule for a 2020 release. This announcement comes after rumors ofCOD 2020delays. Okami writes that the reveal for the game is “coming very soon” but he does not explain what soon means. Although this information does not come from Activision, fans are taking it as a serious announcement. With no other information available, this is the fan’s best source regarding the highly anticipated title.
Although fans appreciate any information that leakers can supply, many of them still wonder what the game will look like. Previous leaks suggest that the game will be set during theCall of Duty: Black Opstimeline. After theappearance ofCall of Duty: The Red Doorplayers are now almost certain that the next campaign will have to do with the Cold War, the CIA, and events of that era.
