How to Unlock Crafting Recipes in Return to Moria
Crafting is essential to survive in the dangerous realm of Moria, as it empowers players to forge powerful weapons and resilient armor necessary for traversing the tunnels and engaging in combat. Players can unlock new crafting recipes in the following ways:
Finding New Resources
There areplenty of resources in TheLord of the Rings: Return to Moria,ranging from scattered pieces of wood on the ground to the iron embedded in the walls.As players venture into the mesmerizing realm of Moria, they can chop down trees, dismantle old buildings, and even defeat Goblins to acquire a variety of valuable resources. Gathering every possible resource not only ensures a well-stocked inventory, but also serves as the key to unlocking new crafting recipes.
Repairing Damaged Statues
The primary way of obtaining crafting recipes inReturn to Moriainvolves restoring the broken statues found in the isolated rooms and tunnels of Moria. To repair these damaged statues, players require anIron Hammer and ten stone blocks. An Iron Hammer can be crafted with four Wood Scraps and two Iron ingots. Once they have the necessary materials, players can simply approach the statue and press theE keyto repair it.
As the statues are restored, players are rewarded with random crafting recipes or certain parts of recipes. With numerous statues scattered amidst the ruins of Moria, players have multiple opportunities to acquire new recipes.
Completing Muznakans
Muznakans, found in various locations within Moria, are small shrines paying tribute to Dwarven family lines. Players can find their first Muznakan just outside Ori’s Outpost, standing in remembrance of deceased Dwarves.
Some of these altars remain incomplete, with missing carvings on their statues. Muznakan Carvings can be found scattered throughout the ruins of Moria. Once these missing pieces are restored, the shrine unveils hidden treasures, including exclusive crafting recipes, new Weapons, and Armor.
Lord of the Rings: Return To Moriais available on PC. The PS5 version launches on December 5, and the Xbox Series X/S version is scheduled to release in early 2024.
