Taking a beating is simply part of the process inMarvel’s Midnight Suns. Unless players have the difficulty dialed down to its lowest settings, they can expect bosses and reinforcements to take their toll on the group. There are tanks who can handle a good amount of damage, but they’ll eventually get whittled down to the point of death.

This is when it becomes most important to heal. Some players mistakenly seem to think they just need to tough it out until the mission is completed, but there are tangible ways to heal after taking a beating.Marvel’s Midnight Sunsgives gamers who build their team correctly a chance to heal back some, or all, of this damage dealt to them.
Healing
The most simple way to heal is with the “Heal” card. The Hunter has two in the default deck, so unless playersedit the hero’s deckto remove the cards, there will always be a chance to draw some healing cards. Other heroes have other cards that also heal.

Some players may view this as a waste of a card and opt for defense with superior offense. But healing cards usually contribute toincreasing the heroism meter. Players can heal their way into using some of the most powerful cards in the game.
Lifesteal
Lifesteal is perhaps less orthodox than traditional healing, but the effect of regaining lost hitpoints is the same. Cards only regain health for the character using the lifesteal cards, however. Afterunlocking Blade, players will find that he can take damage and then gain it all back with a powerful strike.
These kinds of cards tend to deplete heroism. And that makes sense since they both deal damage and heal at the same time. But it’s a huge table-turning card, especially if the lifestealcard has been upgradedto deal more damage or heal even more.
