While it is not necessarily stated that they have feelings for each other, it appears as though Insomniac has laid an implicit foundation for a romantic connection to occur in the future.
Based on a post from Insomniac that Walo-888 provides, dated back to 2018, it is seemingly suggested that Gwen could play a role inthe future ofMarvel’s Spider-Man. Either that, or Insomniac may just not want to completely close the door on a potential character, but are waiting until there is an opportune and practical time to write her into the narrative. Whether as a mild-mannered and tragically fated love interest or an alternate-universe crimefighter, it is certain that fans would like to see the character in some capacity.
