Marvel Snapoffers players a wide variety of different cards, characters, and stylish variant cards for players to choose between in hopes of making a great deck. With theseMarvel-themed cards, players will eventually learn that they can upgrade these cards. Upgrading cards doesn’t actually make the cards more effective, but it enhances how they appear and gives theplayer collection level.

Upgrading these cards inMarvel Snapis important to the game so that players may go further in their collection level, where they will receive new cards to utilize in their decks, credits, and boosters for their cards. Either way, it’s nice seeing the new appearances of some cards. There are 6 different levels in upgrading cards, each with their own look. It’s also good to notethat variant cardsdon’t share the rarity as their base card.
To upgrade cards,players can do so in different ways:
6Uncommon
Uncommon is the very first level of card that a player can upgrade to.Most pool 1 cardsshould find themselves here as beginners will use them the most. Upgrading a card to uncommon will give it the “frame break” upgrade, allowing theMarvelcharacter to perceivably exit from the card’s frame. The frame of the card also turns green, to represent uncommon rarity.
Simply playing once with a card can give a player the boosters to upgrade it. This level of card will cost 25 credits and 5 boosters. It’s the cheapest level and gives players 1 collection level.

Obtained Collection Levels: 2 Levels
5Rare
The rare card level is the next level up from the uncommon rarity. This level gives cards a 3D appearance, allowing for players to move their screen or card around and see how the character seemingly is popping out from the card.
This unique level also turns the frame blue to represent the rare rarity. This upgrade will cost players 100 credits and 10 boosters. It also gives players2 collection levels.

4Epic
After a player upgrades a card to the rare rarity, players will find the epic rarity to be next. The epic level of card gives a player’s card an animation.

This makes certain parts of the card appear as if they are moving, such as hair flowing in the wind or gunfire being unleashed. The frame also obtains a purple look with respect to its epic rarity. This upgrade will cost players 200 credits and 20 boosters. It gives players 4 collection levels.

3Legendary
Next up in the card levels is the legendary rarity. This rarity is achieved after upgrading a card once it is of epic rarity. The legendary rarity gives a card a shiny logo, making the name of the card appear as if it is reflecting light from its surface. It’s a nice look to thecard game ofMarvel Snap.
The card frame also turns into a golden color to represent the legendary rarity. This upgrade will cost players 300 credits and 30 boosters. The upgrade also rewards players with 6 collection levels to obtain newer cards and other rewards within the collection system.

2Ultra
One may expect that legendary is the final level that a player can upgrade their card, but it goes further than that. After the legendary rarity level, players can upgrade their card to the ultra rarity.
The ultra level of card rarity will give the card an animated frame to go along with the character’s animation. This frame will seemingly pulsate, and move as a bright color. It costs 400 credits and 40 boosters to upgrade a card to the ultra rarity. It also gives players 8 collection levels.

1Infinity
Finally, players can upgrade their ultra rarity card to the infinity level. The infinity rarity level will give the card “max quality” and will split off another card of the common rarity (gray frame). The infinity card’s frame will turn into a purplish animated frame. This rarity is the fastest way to getto pool 3.
The card that split off obtains a colorful background behind the character, and also a unique effect. After that, players can begin the entire level upgrading of the newly obtained card, where it will eventually split off once again and gain a new effect. This upgrade will cost a large sum of 500 Credits and 50 boosters. It rewards players 10 collection levels as well, though.
