The card gameMarvel Snapintroduces many cards that players can utilize within decks in hopes of achieving victory. These cards have an energy-cost, which deducts from the max energy a player has during a turn. These energy costs scale from 0 to 6, as there are normally six turns in a game. 2-cost cards are very important inMarvel Snap, as they will end up being some of the most played cards.

It’s a good idea for any player to choose 2-cost cards that fit well into the role of their deck, whether that be movement, destruction, or other ways a deck could strategize together. Whatever the case, there are some 2-cost cards that typically perform better than others.
10Black Widow
Black Widow may just be a 2-cost card, but she definitely brings a punch when it comes to interfering with the enemy’s strategy. She only has 1-power, but she has an On Reveal ability that allows her to give her opponent a Widow’s Bite card.
This card states that while it’s in a player’s hand, no more cards can be drawn. This card has 0-cost and 0-power, but in order for an opponent to continue drawing cards, they must play Widow’s Bite. This can be a headache when taking up a spot on their side of a location.

9Carnage
Carnage is one of the earliest destruction cards a player can obtainwithinMarvel Snap.Carnage is a brilliant 2-costing card for any player looking to utilize destruction cards. Carnage even pairs well in simple combos within decks that don’t particularly utilize destruction.
Carnage has the On Reveal ability that destroys all friendly cards in that location, and he gets +2-power for each destroyed card. He can quickly become powerhouse when taking out 3 cards, and can combo best with cards that need to be destroyed, like Deadpool.

8Invisible Woman
The Fantastic Four’s Invisible Woman brings her canonical powers to essentially replicate the Dark Dimension’s location ability. She has a nice 2-power and her ability states that no cards played by the player will be revealed at her location until the game ends.
This ability is amazing with any kind of card, whether that be destruction, movement, Ongoing, and more. On Reveal cards will definitely pair best with Invisible Woman, since they can all activate their abilities at the end of the game.

7Kraven
Kraven is another card that a player will obtain in the pool 1 ofMarvel Snap. Spider-Man’s villain, Kraven, has the ability that when a card moves to his location, he gets a +2 boost to his power. For movement decks, Kravenis an amazing card to utilize, especially considering he only costs 2-energy.
Kraven can workbest in the middle location, as any movement cards can easily reach him from either of his adjacent sides. A player utilizing cards that consistently move cards around will buff up Kraven substantially.

6Scarlet Witch
The Scarlet Witch is one more cardthat is obtained in pool 1. Scarlet Witch has a unique On Reveal ability that allows her to change the location of the location she is played at.

Scarlet Witch’s ability can be utilized to remove a location that is providing negative effects to the player, or simply to take a chance to change the location into one that may better benefit the player. She can also be used to stop a location from giving the opponent benefits. Either way, Scarlet Witch is a fun card to use in the game, and a very strategic one.
5Okoye
Okoye has a unique On Reveal ability that allows her to give ever card in a player’s deck a +1 boost to their power. Though it is only an additional 1-power, the fact that Okoye gives this boost to every card in the deck makes it incredibly powerful.
Even more so when paired with other cards that consistently heighten friendly cards' power. She pairs great with other On Reveal cards, and coincidentallybest with Black Pantherand Nakia. She’s a great strategic card to push more power onto locations.

4Daredevil
Matt Murdock has arguably one of the best abilities in the entire game, and he only costs 2-energy. Daredevil’s card has the ability to see the opponent’s play before making the player’s own play, all on turn 5. Because of his special ability, a player can quickly utilize that to turn the entire game around.
Any strategic plays made by the opponent can quickly be driven to faulty use as the player counter plays that one. It’s also an important time in the game because it is one turn before the game ends. Daredevil is yet another card obtained in pool 3.Need help getting there?

3Baron Mordo
Baron Mordo, obtained in pool 3, has a great interference ability. He has an On Reveal ability that allows the opponent to draw a card, but the cost is set to 6! Baron Mordo pairs great within an interference deck, but also plays very well within any sort of deck.
Any card set to 6 will be incredibly bothersome because unless that player has any sort of energy-boosting abilities active, they can only play that card on turn 6. This can simply render a card useless, and may be a very important card to that opponent.

2Silver Sable
Silver Sable is simply one of the best 2-cost cards out there inMarvel Snapsimply because of her great power. She only costs 2, but has a power of 6. A power of 6 is what most expensive cards wield, even some 6-cost cards!
Because of her power though, she can only be playedat a locationthat has over 6 power. That ability is an easy feat to overcome, for a player can quickly add 6 power to a location very early on within a game. Playing Silver Sable onto a location can be a heavy win for that area as it adds her power.

1Mysterio
Mysterio wields one of the best abilities out there inMarvel Snapand is used by many professionals at the game. Mysterio’s ability is an On Reveal ability, and when he is played, two Mysterio illusions are also played.
The real Mysterio is then disguised as an illusion himself; he’s not revealed until the end of the game. For opponents, this can be very complicated to deal with, because Mysterio has a great power of 5 for a 2-cost card, so they would want to overcome that. Mysterio is also a great counter for anyone counting on other player’s cards as a strategy for their deck.
