In the trailer for Howling Peaks, the demo of the upcoming DLC pack is being played via cross-platform play, confirming that players on every platform thatMinecraft Dungeonsis in will be able to play with one another via online multiplayer. Additionally, it is worth noting that the update that will bring cross-platform play toMinecraft Dungeonsis free to all players.

As previously mentioned, the Howling Peaks DLC was unveiled today at theMinecraftLive presentationthat showcased all the new and exciting things coming toMinecraft Dungeonsin the future. The DLC expansion will introduce a new boss called the Tempest Golem, who “creates a storm of howling winds from the top of perilous peaks.” Alongside the Howling Peaks DLC is a free update that introduces Apocalypse Plus, which is a set of 20 new difficulties that adds significant challenges to the game while also increasing the power ceiling for characters.
