Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s last digital event is scheduled for next week.Capcom reportedly had its best year ever, and as the developer and publisher of popular series such asDevil May Cry,Mega Man, andResident Evil, it is preparing to launch its long-awaited fighting gameStreet Fighter 6.While fans of its popular fighting game will be able to play its new entry on June 2,Monster Hunterfans may be receiving the last bit of new content forMonster Hunter Riseduring one of its upcoming events.
As with its previous digital events,Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s Digital Events are livestreams dedicated to announcing updates, hosting interviews with developers, revealing new monsters and quests, and more for Capcom’s latest action RPGMonster Hunter Riseand itsexpansion pack that was purchased by nearly half of its player base,Sunbreak. The previous digital event was hosted in April, and it covered the update Ver. 15 with the Free Title Update 5. It introduced new monsters including the returning Elder Dragon Amatsu, adjustments to weapon actions, new skills, quests, cosmetics, and more. The upcoming Digital Event has new information to share with players and reportedly will be “going out with a bang” considering it will be its last.

TheMonster Hunter Rise: SunbreakFinal Digital Event will be livestreamed on June 7 at 7:00 a.m. PT/10:00 a.m. ET on Twitch. Viewers will receive information on the bonus update Ver. 16 that may address a known bug that has beendeletingMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreakplayers' crafting materials. TheMonster Hunterteam developers will be joining the event to look back on the journey of bringingRiseandSunbreakto life. This event will be presented byMonster Hunterseries producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, andRiseandSunbreak’s game directors Yasunori Ichinose and Yoshitake Suzuki.
After the release of its teaser, manyMonster Hunter Risefans stated their love for the franchise and thanked Capcom for offering them an incredible experience. Players also discussed with fellow fans what they hope to be announced during the event, including discussion around the nextMonster Huntergame.
There has not been any information from Capcom regarding its next mainlineMonster Huntergame, but aMonster Hunterspin-off is possibly on the way. Although there may not be any new content forMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreakafter next week’s event, players can still pour plenty of hours into happily hunting in Capcom’s monster-slaying action RPG.
