Just following theNintendo Direct for upcoming titleAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsback in February, there may be multiple Nintendo Direct presentations coming gamers' way in March. Currently, there is rumored to be two presentations soon.

The first piece of evidence suggesting that a Nintendo Direct was coming soon came in the form of U.K.-based retailer GAME setting up a webpage that was with reference to an apparent collaboration betweenNintendo and LEGO. The description detailed a Nintendo Direct that would have shown more of the collaboration between the two companies. The webpage had been removed thereafter following the realization of the mistake.

Following GAME’s action, a staff writer from VentureBeat named Jeff Grubb wrote on the website that there was a Nintendo Direct coming at some point in March. According to Grubb, there will likely be an indie showcase to arrive next week. Further, however, a Nintendo Direct in the style of past Direct presentations will probably soon follow the indie showcase. While it isn’t known which first-party titles will be displayed during the probableNintendo Direct, Grubb claims that it will offer a broad overview of the content to come in 2020.

As can be seen above, there may well be more than one Nintendo Direct presentation in March. Between GAME’s potential leak of the collaboration between Nintendo and LEGO and Grubb’s statements regarding the indie showcase and larger Nintendo Direct, the possibility for multiple Directs seems more and more likely.

While it’s not certain, any Direct that will be streamed soon probably won’t have much information regardingAnimal Crossing: New Horizons. Given all that has been learned about it thus far from the recent Direct and public demo, any Direct between now and the end of March will probably be devoid of anyAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsnews.

March 10 is Mario Day, so perhaps there will be some reveal regarding a newMariotitle. The collaboration between LEGO and Nintendo does suggest that there may be a LEGO-Mario hybrid platformer in the works. However, only time will tell of the possibilities as the Direct presentations tentatively occur in March.

Animal Crossing: New Horizonswill launch on Nintendo Switch on June 22, 2025.
