Naughty Dog’sThe Last of Us Part 1is on its way this September. A remake of the original 2013 game, the upcoming title will feature improved gameplay, controls, performance, and accessibility options. And whilenot everyone is convinced that the remake is necessary, it at least comes with the promise of an eventual PC release.In addition to the standard PS5 version ofThe Last of Us Part 1, fans can also choose between the Digital Deluxe and limited Firefly Edition. And while the latter sold out some time ago,The Last of Usdeveloper Naughty Dog just announced a restock coming early next month.RELATED:The Last of Us Pre-Load Begins TodayNaughty Dog announced the restock over Twitter on Friday afternoon. Players will be able to pick it up at 12 AM Eastern/9 AM Pacific when the game releases on September 2. It will be available exclusively from the PlayStaion website and retails for around $99.99. Supplies will also be limited, so fans need to act quickly if they want to snagThe Last of Us Part 1’s Firefly Edition for themselves.

The Firefly Edition comes in an exclusive SteelBook case and includes the game and all four volumes ofThe Last of Us: American Dreamsprequel comic, which further explores the relationship between Ellie and Riley. The comics also feature new exclusive Firefly Edition cover art. Meanwhile, in-game rewards include early access to a variety of skills, upgrades, weapon skins, and more.

These include the Increased Crafting Speed and Increased Healing Speed Skills, and the 9mm Reload Speed and Rifle Clip Capacity Upgrade. The Firefly Edition also includes early access to the Explosive Arrows modifier, “Dither Punk” Filter, and Speedrun Mode. Finally, the Firefly Edition comes with early access to six ofThe Last of Us Part 1’s weapon skins. These include the Black and Gold Filigree options for the 9mm Pistol, the Shotgun’s Sculpted Oak and Rubber Tactical Skins, and the Carbon Black and Arctic White skins for Ellie’s Bow. Players can access these items in-game via a voucher code, which expires on June 14, 2025. Players will also need to log into or create a PlayStation plus account.

Unfortunately for International fans,The Last of Us Part 1: Firefly Editionis still only available to customers in the United States. However, Naughty Dog confirmed in a follow-up tweet that the studio is working with its partners to investigate the possibility of a European release. Still, there’s no guarantee thatFirefly Editionis coming to the European Union, and the studio hasn’t mentioned anything about releasing it in additional countries.

The Last of Us Part 1releases for PS5 on September 2 and is in development for PC.
