The debut season ofHuman Resourcessaw many guest appearances, including performances from Hugh Jackman and Helen Mirren. In an interview withGame Rant, co-creator Goldberg shared: “I’m excited for the audience to see our incredible cast, and how we got all these amazing actors and comedians to gather. From beginning to end, there are so many terrific performances. I just feel so fortunate. There were so many parts where it was our dream casting.”

Galuska gushed about the spin-off’s immaculate representation. She shared, “Personally, I’m excited about our representation of childbirth and early motherhood in a cartoon. It was fulfilling for me, having just had a child right before we started making this show. It was very cool to be able to then put that on screen. I’m also excited for the audience to see how we go deeper into certain issues and emotions. Once we were able to expand beyond the puberty part of life and go from birth until death, and everything in between, I was excited about being able to get sad at some parts and explore those other emotions that make us human.”

Big Mouthhas also received critical acclaim. First premiering in 2017, the show has an all-star ensemble cast including Kroll, John Mulaney, Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas,Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Ayo Edebiri, and Jessi Klein. The animated series has released 51 episodes over five seasons, and a Valentine’s Day special. The show masterfully intertwines boyish comedy with heavy themes of puberty, sexuality, and mental health.

Both shows have found a secure home on the Netflix streaming platform, produced under the production house Brutus Pink (founded by theBig Mouthcreators) which has an exclusive multi-year deal with Netflix.
