Since the announcement thatAnimal Crossing: New Horizonswill be working withBuild-a-Bear to makeACNHplushies, it seems the demand for these specific stuffed toys is reaching an all-time high. The company has even had to refresh stocks of theAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsitems, showcasing just how popular these products are. Now, The Pokemon Company is partnering again with Build-a-Bear to add morePokemonto its roster, but this time it is featuring Scorbunny, one of the starters inPokemon SwordandShield.

Though Build-a-Bear already has an existing lineup ofPokemontoys, this is the first time that it will produce one for the latest video game title. Some of the Pokemon found in the Build-a-Bear collection include Pikachu, Eevee, Mew, Psyduck, and even Eevee’s evolutions such as Flareon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon. Though not announced on official channels yet, Build-a-Bear shared news about adding Scorbunny to itsvideo game stuffed toy lineupby emailing the members of Inside Stuff Bonus Club. The news shared that the plushie will be available in physical stores and as an online bundle starting Jul 20, 2025. How much the toy will cost, as well as the accessories in the bundle, has not been officially disclosed by the company yet. However, the item prices on the official Build-a-Bear site go for around $55-65 USD, soPokemon SwordandShieldfans should expect to shell out that much.

For the online only bundle, the Fire-Type Pokemon Scorbunny will come with a set of flame-themed sleepwear, a cape, as well as a sound chip that imitates Scorbunny’s cries fromPokemonSwordandShield. Fans will likely enjoy having this toy as part of their personal collection, especially if they have already built aselection ofSwordandShieldplushiesreleased by The Pokemon Company since the game’s launch.

Given that there are three starters inSwordandShield,Pokemonfans are likely hopeful that more of their favorites from the latest game will be included in the lineup soon. Hopefully Grass-Type Grookey and Water-Type Sobble will appear on shelves and online in the near future. With Build-a-Bear’s current popularity, interested buyers and collectors should verify to check the official site and stores to purchase the Scorbunny plushie as soon as it is available. Given the demand, there is still the chance for this item to easily sell out, just like theAnimal Crossingproducts.
