Nintendo Directpresentations often unveil the most anticipated games for the Nintendo Switch. The upcomingNintendo Direct Mini presentation will focus on third party gamesbut may still deliver some interesting titles from its partners. Whether all the games that have been rumored to be coming to the console are showcased or not, there does seem to be excitement for some titles in particular. Fortunately, watching this event should not be too difficult for Nintendo fans.
There have been rumors that titles that have beenannounced for some time such asBayonetta 3would be featured and many would like to see the hack and slash game return. However, there is a greater variety of games that may feature at this presentation and fans have gone on to make a large list of possibilities. Two of the games that fans seem to be looking forward to areHollow Knight: SilksongandPersona 5: The Phantom Strikers. All of these titles are being developed by third parties and with that in mind, there may be some significant announcements at this event which takes place today (July 20).

There is an air of anticipation around this presentation and this is partly because of the importance of games in recent months. The Nintendo consoles have become invaluable to some players who have followed theadvice of the World Health Organizationand stayed inside and played games during the coronavirus pandemic. If Nintendo can deliver a comprehensive roster for the remainder of the year then a lot of players may want to stick with a Nintendo console as their primary gaming outlet.
Many will be relieved that this presentation is going ahead as there had beenconcerns that Nintendo Direct events would stop, but it seems that the presentations are going from strength to strength. If the event has a trailer for any of the aforementioned anticipated titles it will likely be a hit, although Twitter fans are already making it clear what game they want to see in this presentation.
A lot of fans have stated that they wouldlike to seeBayonetta 3but these hopes are being met with skepticism. Some of the more pessimistic viewers believe that there won’t be too many announcements at this event but this does not seem to be based in more than conjecture. It is apparent that this event will have to win over some fans but it certainly has the potential to do so if it can deliver news about another critically acclaimedHollow Knightgame orMetroid Prime 4.
