Summary
Season 6 brings a omnic-inspired mythic skin forOverwatch 2support character Ana and have have already noticed a fun little detail when using a certain emote. It’s been a big week for Overwatch 2 fans as the new season has proven to bring a big amount of changes to the popular online FPS. Thebiggest addition toOverwatch 2is the Invasion mode, PvE co-op story missions that pit players against Null Sector which unlocks new rewards, lore entires, and plenty more.
In addition, the PvP side of the game has also recieved plenty of new content first with theaddition of a new support hero named Illari, who uses solar energy to heal allies and harm enemies. Suravasa and New Junk City, two of the biggest maps ever introduced into Overwatch 2, support the new Flashpoint mode which is a mix of multiple game modes where players race to capture different zones across the entire map. With a new battle pass, players also have new rewards and cosmetics to unlock including a mythic skin for Ana.

Ana’s newOverwatch 2mythic skin is known as A-7000 Wargod, and gives her a very Omnic looking style. As expected, the skin comes with multiple cosmetic options to pick from including three different color palettes, two guns, and three omnic builds. However, players will need to put in a bit of work or spend a chunk of money to unlock it as A-7000 Wargod is the Tier 80 reward inside of the Premium Battle Pass for Season 6.
However, while messing around with the new Ana skin, someOverwatch 2players like Niandra have discovered an interesting touch with the skin. When using the Beachball emote, which sees the character bring out and hit a traditional beach ball, the item has actually been changed to better fit the skin. The detail was also confirmed by the officialOverwatchsocial team as the “first ever Mythic Beachball” whe used with Ana’s skin.
Ana isn’t the only hero getting an Omnic inspired look in Season 6. Kiriko, Cassidy, Pharah, and Symmetra have also gotten Omnic-inspired looks as Blademaster, Sharpshooter, Warhead, and Sentry respectively. While these can be unlocked through theOverwatch 2Season 6 Battle Pass and special in-game bundle, some are expecting to see these omnic-characters potentially show up in future PvE missions as well considering the appearance of “Wargod” in one of the current Invasion missions.
Overwatch 2is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
