The “Find Your Shepp” task is a delightful journey where you will forge bonds that will guide your character on their adventures. What Is A Shepp
Before being accepted as a legitimate community member in Kilima village, you must find a Shepp. This person is an NPC villager who will mentor and guide your character through the ins and outs of the village. This type of relationship is separate fromfriendship and romance advances. The word “Shepp” seems to be derivative of the Old English word “shepherd,” which defines someone who tends to you and guides you in your intended direction.
There are 19 different villagers to choose from when selecting a Shepp. They are listed in the table below. Those looking for soft personalities might look into selecting villagers such as Ashura, Badruu, or Tish. There are also some very knowledgeable options, like Caleri, Chayne, and Elouisa. Searching for someone tough with a no-quit attitude to be your companion? Get to know villagers like Hassian, Hodari, Kenyatta, or Zeki before making a selection.

How To Reach The “Find Your Shepp” Task
to choose a Shepp, there are a handful of tasks you must complete. After building your home and demonstrating your intentions to stay in Kilima Village, you must talk to Eshe about earning your citizenship status. She will assign you three separate tasks all at once to prove your Majiri values:Prove Your Devotion,Prove Your Generosity, andProve Your Purpose.
Your character must talk to different characters to learn about the history of Kilima Village, send gifts to villagers and other players, and make substantial progress on one of the eight skills in the game. Once all three of these tasks are completed, Eshe will give you the last step of the process -Find Your Shepp.
Qualifications To Find A Shepp
After completing the tasks, your character will unlock a dialogue option for each of the 19 candidates available to become Shepps. You can ask the villager of your choosing"Will you be my Shepp?“They will either accept or decline your offer, depending on your relationship levels.
You must reach at least level four friendship with your chosen villager before they accept your offer. A Shepp is a role taken very seriously in Majiri culture, so many characters will kindly let you down until your relationship has grown. You can increase your friendship with someone by talking with them every day, completing tasks for them, andsending them gifts based on their weekly desires.
After a villager has agreed to be your Shepp, report to Eshe, and she will make arrangements for an Acceptance Ceremony. This task is meant to take some time, but the process of finding a Shepp will prove to be worth it in the end.
