The originalPersona 5was released in 2016 for PS3 and PS4 after a period of troubled development. A few years later,Atlus releasedPersona 5 Royal, an updated version of the game that contained some quality-of-life improvements, a brand-new storyline, new confidant links, and other overhauls. While this version was praised by fans and critics, others didn’t like how they purchased and invested time in the original game, only for it to become outdated a few years later. Fans should be assured thatPersona 3 Reloadlikely won’t be going downPersona 5 Royal’s route of getting an updated re-release years later.
