Charm is one of Joker’s five social stats inPersona 5 Royal. Like other social stats, increasing it is required to get close toparticular confidants, such as the Death and Priestess confidant. It is closely linked to doing well in school and, like others, can be increased through reading certain books, watching specific movies, and hanging out with particular confidants.
The Charm stat inPersona 5 Royalcan also be raised through certain items and by doing certain activities in Joker’s free time. The bathhouse is especially a place to be taken advantage of for those looking to get more Charm. There are also some time-sensitive opportunities.

Item-Based Ways To Raise Charm
There are two DVDs, two games, and three books Joker can rent or buy that raise his Charm stat. Books are particularly good because they can be read on the train or during class without wasting any free time.

Time Sensitive Ways To Raise Charm
While the bathhouse is always available to Joker and gives out Charm, there are certain days when Joker can get even more Charm than usual. Also, there are movies that play in the theater only in certain months, which can give Joker some Charm.
Go to the bathhouse in Yongen-Jaya and stay longer.
Mondays and Thursdays
+3 (a bonus from the usual +2)
Study at the diner and order Frui-Tea.
+1 Charm (in addition to Knowledge)
Accept Ann’s invitationto watch “Love Possibly.”
Buy and drink juice in the Shibuya Underground Walkway.
Raises a random stat by +1
Confidants
There are two optional confidants that can give Joker more Charm through spending free time with them. The first isToranosuke Yoshida, the Sun Confidant. He appears on May 6 and will meet Joker a second time if Joker works part-time at the beef bowl shop. His confidant will unlock when Joker helps him out.Spending time with him will award Joker with +3 Charm.

The other person that can give Joker more Charm isIchiko Ohya, the Devil Confidant. To unlock her, Joker must go to the Crossroads bar in Shinjuku in the evening. She will appear on June 25th and will be unlocked as a confidant upon speaking to her. Like Yoshida,Ohya gives Joker +3 Charm every time they hang out together.
Other Methods
In School
To gain charm at school, Joker mustace his exams. This will require him to have rank four Knowledge and to check his exam results at school. Doing this will get him+3 Charm.
Also at school, teacher occasionally throws chalk at Joker. If Joker can dodge (which requires a high rank in Proficiency), then he will gain+3 Charm. The chalk throwing happens on April 16th, October 15th, and October 24th.
Big Bang Burger Challenge
Succeeding this challenge will not only award Joker with more Charm, but also Knowledge, Guts, and Proficiency. Eating the following will get him the respective Charm boosts:
