An artist who lovesPokemonhas just given Yanma a human version. This design turns the classic Bug-typePokemonfrom the second generation into something else entirely by keeping its most memorable features and making it into an anime-like human character.
Crafting clever alternative versions ofPokemonis something quite common in the franchise’s community these days. Fans have come up with several popular concepts, such as fusions,Paradox forms inspired byPokemon Scarlet and Violet, and even humanPokemonnow, with the latest trend quickly becoming a very popular topic with the franchise’s art community. The most recentPokemonto receive this treatment was Yanma, a Bug/Flying-typePokemonthat looks like a very cute green and red dragonfly with huge bug eyes. Now, aPokemonfan called Endifi has recently shared an amazing example ofbeautiful human Pokemon arton social media, turning the classic Yanma into a human while keeping a faithful design. The human Yanma is called “Yanmo, the Yanma,” and wears red armor with translucent wings and a long tail that resembles Yanma’s. He also uses green goggles, which correspond to the Pokemon’s head, and seems ready to fight in the picture. The similarity is so big that even the creature’s dark legs were featured as human arms and legs in the drawing.
The creator Endifi is already known in thePokemoncommunity for their work. She has previouslycreated human versions of manyPokemon, including Politoed, Sudowoodo, Bellossom, Togepi, Cleffa, and others. In the comments, most people were praising Endifi’s hard work with the design. BlueFlame_AJ even commented that the drawing reminded them a lot of Inzektor, a bug-like soldier card fromYu-Gi-Oh, which comes in more than one version. However, all of them are very similar to anime human soldiers with dragonfly wings.
Art turningPokemoninto humans is far from everything that the community has to offer in terms of amazingly creative concepts, asPokemonfans are always coming up with something new. A few days ago, a creator devised aunique evolution for the famous Eevee, one of the few creatures almost as loved by the community as Pikachu. This artist who lovedPokemonwas tired of seeing the same Eeveelutions over and over, so they decided to create Myceleon, an amazing Poison-type Eevee, together with its shiny variant, coming originally in red, with variants in pink with a few light green details.
