Summary

APokemonfan is getting exactly what they wanted for their birthday, thanks to a parent building them a custom Jigglypuff pinata. The design has impressed fellow fans and is also amusing the community due to the chosen Pokemon.

Pokemonmerchandise is extremely popularand can be found all over the world, but not every item a person may want is necessarily available through official means. Thankfully, fans of the franchise tend to be a creative bunch, and plenty of artistic players have built their ownPokemoncreations that fill in some of the gaps. One such example is this Jigglypuff pinata.

Reddit user a91wmedic shared a few images of the completed pinata, depicting a grumpy-looking Jigglypuff. The pinata was made with paper mache, streamers, and glue, and the OP followed a general pinata tutorial online to get an idea of what to do. Considering the pinata is going to get repeatedly whacked until it bursts, it’s certainly an appropriate choice for the generally happy Pokemon to put on their puffed-up mad expression instead. Fans proposed that thePokemonpinata should be struck with a giant microphone to complete the experience.

As the project is the first time the parent created a pinata, fans are impressed at their efforts but also left curious about the son’s request. Several users asked if a91wmedic’s son actually liked Jigglypuff, considering pinatas are intended to be hit and broken. A91wmedic explained that their son does indeed like theiconic pink Pokemon, but since it was their first time attempting to build a pinata, making a complex shape would have been quite difficult. A91wmedic told their son that they could have any round Pokemon that they liked, and they selected Jigglypuff. Amusingly, the OP also noted that they hid a secret surprise in the Jigglypuff; when the final shell of the Pokemon is burst, it will trigger several fart bombs.

TheJigglypuffpinata would surely leave a lasting impression on a91wmedic’s son, even without the noxious surprise. All in all, the OP spent a month putting the pinata together, showing their dedication to their child.

While Jigglypuff arrived in the first generation ofPokemongames 25 years ago, it remains a popular and highly recognizable pocket monster to this day. The creature received an ancient Paradox form with the release ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet, marking the first major addition to the Pokemon’s line sinceIgglybuffwas added to its evolutionary tree back in Gen 2. While not every Jigglypuff fan would be thrilled to see this pinata beaten to bits, its continuing popularity with long-time and new fans to thePokemonseries is nice to see.
