This event-exclusive Timed Research unfolds across six steps, and fans can earn a variety of Poke Balls, Berries, and Pokemon encounters by completing them. Before getting into the specifics of the Fashion Week Timed Research tasks, players should know that they must all be completed before Monday, October 3 at 8pm local time. To note, participating in the battles that are awarded at the end of Steps 1, 3, and 5 will cause the “Battle a Fashion Challenger” tasks from Steps 2, 4, and 6 to be marked as complete. This means that the Fashion Week Timed Research is actually quite short, essentially only requiringPokemon GOplayersto complete three steps-worth of tasks. While some fans may have hoped for something a bit more involved, the brevity of this event-exclusive Timed Research will please those that want to claim a Sunglasses Absol as quickly as possible.
It is also worth mentioning that these Timed Research tasks have some nice overlap withPoGO’s Fashion Week Field Research. As examples, there are tasks in both sets of Research that instruct players to catch Pokemon and take snapshots of wild Pokemon. Fans that value efficiency are thus advised to spin any PokeStop that they encounter for the chance to double up their rewards.
