Meloetta specificallyappears inFinding Your Voice, which is Special Research that allows players to catch Meloetta. The Mythical Pokemon was first made available in this Special Research on September 21st, 2021, and is still available to complete today.

From here, go to the Special section at the top, and you should be able to locate Finding Your Voice here. If not, you might need to complete a fewmore Special Research Tasksbefore it appears. After completing all the tasks, you will be given aMeloetta encounter, as well as a chance to get 20x Meloetta Candy. You will be able to get some other items as well,such as Lure Modules, and Rare Candies.
Can Meloetta Be Shiny in Pokemon GO?
Although there are two versions of Meloetta, including Pirouette Forme and Aria Forme, the Pokemondoes not currently have a Shiny forminPokemon GO. However, since a Shiny version of both forms doexist in other games, it is certainly possible that a Shiny Meloetta will become available in the future.
While we wait for an update from Niantic on when a Shiny Meloetta will appear in the game, we recommend focusing on attempting to getboth formsof Meloetta in the game, since they have different stats and types, so they can be used for different battles.
