Players will soon be able tochallenge their online friends inCassette Beasts, as publisher Raw Fury has just announced a new update that will add new multiplayer support and plenty of other features. This update will launch on May 20 and is free for all available platforms. Players will be able to trade Cassette Beasts with their friends online, as well as embark on co-op raids. A free multiplayer beta test is being held for the Steam version ofCassette Beastsstarting on March 25.

Online co-op isn’t the only new feature coming toCassette Beastswith this new update.Crossplay support is being addedacross all platforms, meaning that Steam players will be able to explore the island of New Wirral with their friends on the Switch and vice versa. Additionally, Raw Fury is launching an iOS and Android version ofCassette Beastssometime later this year.Cassette Beastswill also have a crossover with last year’sMoonstone Island, with some cosmetic options inspired by that game being included in the upcoming free update and Pombomb being added toMoonstone Island.

WhileCassette Beastsflew somewhat under the radarwhen it launched last year, its player base has grown to over 400,000 players.
