Hoopawho and their teammates used Farigaraf, Latios, Alcremie, and Dipplin to pull off their strategy. On the opening turn, Farigaraf waited for Latios to use Simple Beam on it before enhancing its statistics with Calm Mind. With Simple Beam, the target Pokemon’s ability changes to Simple, which doubles the power of stat-enhancing moves. Alcremie used Decorate on Farigaraf to further boost its special attack stat. Dipplin used an Attack Cheer and ate a Kebia Berry to lessen the impact of Swampert’s Sludge Wave.
