With the recent release ofPowerWash Simulatoron Playstation, a new wave of trophy hunters are set out to not only complete the game but also earn themselves a fresh and clean Platinum trophy to add to their collection. One of the many trophies to be earned is “Best Buds"where players will need to take a ride on the Ferris Wheel with a Gnome inside the pod with them. This is the same Gnome players are sure to have noticed watching them precariously as they’ve progressed through the game, most notably inside a toilet in theWashroomstage. This time, however, it’ll be as clean as whistle and waiting for players to find it.

Before the Gnome can be located, the Ferris Wheel stage will first need to be unlocked. The Ferris Wheel will open up in Career Mode after the missions Cleaning the Frolic Boat and Cleaning the Monster Truck have been completed, both of which are pretty far into the game, meaning players will be spending quite some time already getting familiar with the game before reaching this point. Once the Ferris Wheel stage is available for cleaning (in either Career Mode or Free Play), select it and let the stage load in.
The option to clean the Ferris Wheel before taking the ride or after is up to the player, but if players decide to wash it before, just be sure to not completely finish the Ferris Wheel to 100% or the stage will end before getting a chance to get the trophy. Just leave one or two items left over to clean to ensure there are no unnecessary stage restarts. They might also want to bring someMetal Cleaner with them since quite a few spotson the Ferris Wheel are rusty beyond belief and can be a bit tedious to clean without it.
Directly ahead will be the dirty and grimy Ferris Wheel that needs to be cleaned, but just off to the right (and slightly behind the Ferris Wheel) will be the Helter Skelter, the large metal slide that was cleaned previously in Career Mode. Climb up the slide to the top of the attraction and follow the platform to the end. Sitting by itself on the muddy metal will be a single Gnome just waiting to take a ride with a friend. Pick up the Gnome with the button prompt provided and take it back down to the Ferris Wheel.
Sprinting and jumpingare disabled when carrying objects, so if running back down the slide doesn’t very fun, players can just toss the Gnome off the side of the slide and jump down after it. Pick any of the pods to climb in and place the friendly lawn decoration anywhere in the pod. It can be on the seat or the floor, both work, it just needs to be placed down. Holding the Gnome for the entire ride won’t count. Now, just sit back and enjoy the peaceful ride. Once the Ferris Wheel makes one full loop around to get the achievement. It may take a little bit extra of a ride for it to register, but players shouldn’t need to go any more than two full loops around to trigger it.
