According to the official Ubisoft website,Rainbow Six Extractionwill be launching at 12 a.m. local time on June 30, 2025, for consoles and PC. In terms of pre-loading, anyone who’s purchasedRainbow Six Extractionon PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X/S is able to pre-load the game now. Because of the streaming-based nature of Google Stadia and Amazon Luna, neither platform requires a download meaning that players won’t be able to pre-load the game, but there’s no need because of the fact that with streaming, downloads aren’t necessary.

As is the case with all game releases now, there’s likely going to be some sort of fluctuation with those times in the scale of a few minutes, butUbisofthas a good track record of sticking closely to the times that it announces for its game releases. With a title as hotly anticipated asRainbow Six Extraction, it would be surprising if the launch times listed were to be delayed in any way.

It’s also worth noting that those planning on playingRainbow Six Extractionon Xbox Game Pass have a pre-load option availableto them as well. Recently, pre-loading on the service has been a little shaky with things likeHalo Infinite’s campaign lacking any sort of pre-loading options; however,Rainbow Six Extractionis already available on the service under the “Coming soon” tab on the home screen.

In addition to the announcement thatRainbow Six Extractionwould be coming to Game Pass, it was also announced thatUbisoft+ would be coming to Xbox consolesas well. Many think that these moves suggest that Ubisoft is testing the waters of pairing its subscription service with Game Pass Ultimate similar to how EA Play did in 2020, but there’s still no official confirmation on that just yet.
