Ready or Not’sCommander Mode offers a campaign-style experience where players go from one mission to another, all while piecing together bits of evidence and discovering a much larger conspiracy happening around Los Sueños. The overall gameplay doesn’t differ much from how it’s played in general, though it does have an officer management system that provides some layer of additional depth.
While in this single-player mode, you’ll be accompanied by up to four AI-controlled SWAT officers who will follow your orders to the dot. VOID Interactive took this one step further by implementing a stress featureinReady or Not1.0that dictates the mental wellness of your fellow officers. Here’s how to manage it.

How to Fix Stressed Officer Status in Ready Or Not
To keep the mental health of AI officers green, you’ll have to give them a break. This means you’ll have to rotate your roster between active and off-duty officers. To do so, open your tablet by holding the Tab key while in the station, then click on the Roster button. Select a stressed-out officer, then choose someone else who’ll take his place.
After every mission, the mental states of officers will deteriorate from Content (green) to Anxious (yellow), Stressed (orange), and Crisis (red). If an officer enters the Crisis state. If an officer is Anxious, all you have to do is swap them out of the team for a different member. If they’re Stressed, you’ll also get an option to send them to therapy, which will make them unavailable overthe course of three missions. Up to three officers can be sent to therapy at a time, and any officer who reaches the Crisis state will automatically get sent to therapy by the LSPD’s resident expert.

Failing to reduce the stress levels of officers will cause them to resign from the force, possibly denying you a teammate with a valuable trait for certain strategies. All officers have a perk that can be unlocked after they complete a couple of missions, and these perks range from reducing stress build-up to improving the team’s health andaccuracy for better performance. Some perks also allow for faster breaching and stronger effects on suspect morale when shouting and using breaching tools.
Take note that in the early parts of the campaign, players are expected to lose officers due to resignation since they don’t have access to additional squad members. When this happens, simply recruit new officers via the tablet’s Roster menu.
