ARed Dead Redemption 2player has captured a nasty slow-motion horse crash with the help of the game’s kill cam feature.Red Dead Redemption 2will turn five years old later this year, and it seems some players are still finding fun, ridiculous encounters in Rockstar’s epic western masterpiece.

As a western,Red Dead Redemption 2is pretty much required to feature a slow motion kill cam when players dispatch enemies in combat. The kill cam inRed Dead 2seems to most commonly trigger when a player kills and enemy with a lethal headshot or a shot to the heart. These moments usually last a few seconds, turning the screen a muted yellow and showcasing the action from several different angles. The feature is similar to the famous “Wasted” screen inRockstar’s other mega-blockbusterGrand Theft Auto 5. Over the four years sinceRed Dead Redemption 2launched, players have been able to capture some truly hilarious moments while triggering the game’s slow motion kill cam feature.

Reddit user Ermaleefrancis posted a short clip to the RedDeadRedemption subreddit of a gnarly horse collision in the middle of themud-sodden New Hanover town of Valentine. The player, in story mode with a $290 bounty on their head, is ripping through the main road of Valentine on their horse when an adversary comes around a corner barreling towards them. Just before contact is made the player pulls out their trusty six-shooter and fires a shot right into the rider’s mouth, triggering a glorious slow motion kill cam that lasts a whole seven seconds and features three different camera angles.

With the brutal collision underway in slow motion, the adversary, who’s just been shot in the mouth, takes a full-speed horse head directly to the chest, violently ripping him off his own steed. Meanwhile, the player is launched directly upward and comes down hard in thewet and soggy Valentine mud. As a cherry on top, the player gets smashed in the head by another horse’s cart as they try to get back up. Surprisingly, despite the brutality of what had just transpired, the player only ended up losing a small bit of health. Additionally, the entire rigamarole added a crisp $20 to their active bounty.

Rockstar’s physics have usually been a source of fun for players to mess around with, especially in theGrand Theft Autoseries. WithRed Dead Redemption 2featuring a more weighty and grounded feel to its character animation and movement physics, it still allows for hilarious moments such as these that entertain fans for years after launch.

Red Dead Redemption 2is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
