It’s not much of a surprise to see that people are interested in seeing some of the finer details in the remake ofResident Evil 4, and a recent video clues fans in to some interesting tidbits about Ingrid Hunnigan’s location. Over the decades, some of the more dedicated players have been keen to find secrets andEaster eggs within theResident Eviluniverse, with some intriguing discoveries being made over the years.

Capcom’s iconic survival horror franchise is still going strong, with new entries and remakes of classics keeping things fresh. One of the things that’s made the series so popular is the amount ofcharacters thatResident Evilfans get to play as. However, as beloved as Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine are, there are also a number of non-playable characters that help to breathe life into each game, and one of those isRE4’s Hunnigan.

What players may be interested in is that the agent’s location contains a lot more than meets the eye. A recent video from the YouTube channel Slippy Slides dissects a number of aspects of theResident Evil 4remake by going out of bounds. In an earlier part of the video, viewers are taken into Hunnigan’s office, where it turns out the developer has put way more detail than most people would see. For example, there are multiple unmanned desks and a catwalk that seems to lead to a second floor, all of which can only be seen by modifying the lighting. This is all despite the fact that players don’t really see much of Hunnigan and her location outside her immediate surroundings, which are encased in shadow anyway.

It’s also interesting to see thatResident Evil 4’s Hunnigan has some notes on her monitor, one of which seems to be a reminder to pick up some new glasses and contact lenses. There’s also another one that reminds the agent to dispatch a helicopter, and one that mentions bingo on Friday. While this latter one may not be significant, it could well be a reference to Leon’s iconic “Where’s everyone going? Bingo?” line. Finally, the video also notes that there are some Umbrella-labelled medicine bottles on a nearby desk, for unknown reasons. The section about Hunnigan begins around the 2:05 mark, but the video in general reveals some other intriguingRE4secrets.

While Hunnigan may not be as popular asResident Evil 4’s talkative Merchant, she is still an important part of the story, acting as a means of communication for Leon. Hopefully, there will be additional out-of-bounds videos coming up that could give more insight into the remake.

Resident Evil 4is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
