Gamers will be quick to note that Las Plagas are parasitic superorganisms that originated from a remote valley in the Iberian Peninsula. While the branding doesn’t sound too good because of whatLas Plagas is in theResident Eviluniverse, most fans are already excited because of the possibilities for merchandising for the title and the franchise. Not only that, a similarResident Evil-inspired drink already came out back in 2021.
Previously,Resident Evil Villagegot a Lady Dimitrescu Energy Bundlethat came with a tall tub, a brand-new flavor, and a shaker inspired by its namesake. That collaboration took liberties by using Lady Dimitrescu’s height to create what G-Fuel hyped as the tallest tub ever, being 47.2% higher than other products. With theResident Evil 4 Remake’s recent release in March 2023, the timing couldn’t be more right to create another collaborative drink with the famous brand.

Famous energy drink brand G-Fuel posted its latest product, a Las Plagas Collector’s Box. According to the listing, each box comes with an exclusive 24 ozResident Evil 4Steel Shaker Cup that won’t be available anywhere else, along with a 40-serving Las Plagas Energy Tub. The item is priced at $59.99 USD, but fans will have to join the waitlist first. Those looking to obtain a unique piece ofResident Evil 4merchandise will be glad to know that the exclusive Steel Shaker Cup uses protagonist Leon Kennedy as its design.
This isn’t the first time the franchise has partnered up with a brand to release unique merchandise. Fans may remember the classicResident Evil 4Chainsaw controller, which coincided with the original game’s release. A gamer recently found one of those, still boxed, and most can assume that the value of the said item has increased. Since the G-Fuel-brandedResident Evil 4Steel Shaker Cup will be an exclusive item, it may prove to be valuable in the future.
In light of this announcement, a fan created a mod that replacesResident Evil 4’s herbs with G-Fuel products. It also allows players to replace Leon’s head and body with G-Fuel tubs. While this modification probably won’t make it to thebestResident Evil 4modsin the future, the timely release should get gamers excited about the collaboration between G-Fuel and Capcom. The mod may even serve as marketing hype for the product’s upcoming release.
