For those who may not be aware,Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Gameis a remaster of the original release that bundles the base game with its DLC packs. The second DLC Pack makes Wallace Wells a playable character, but doesn’t add any new game modes. In any case,Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game - Complete Editionwill ensure fans get the fullScott Pilgrimgame experience, though it won’t have much in the way of new content or features.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game - Complete Editionwill be available for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One come its July 05, 2025 release date. Fans will notice that there doesn’t appear to be a next-gen version ofScott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Gamein development, which is somewhat odd considering both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles are now available. Of course, the game will still be playable on the new systems thanks to their backward compatibility, but it’s unclear whyUbisofthas decided to skip the PS5 and Xbox Series X, especially since it has already released multiple games for them.
Something else that’s unclear aboutScott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game - Complete Editionis whyoriginal creator Bryan O’Malleyis not involved with the remaster. In fact, O’Malley wasn’t even aware that a remaster of the game was in the works until Ubisoft made the official announcement.
