Among Ushas been one of the most popular games in the world over the past couple of years. In the game, a group of players are either assigned the role of a Crewmate or an Impostor. While Crewmates walk around one ofAmong Us' maps and complete tasks, the Impostors kill them while trying to convince the Crewmates that they are innocent.Among Usoriginally released in 2018, but didn’t gain most of its huge player base until 2020. In tomorrow’s update forAmong Us, fans will be able to play as Ghostface, one of the most iconic slasher villains in horror film history. Ghostface is from theScreamseries. In eachScreammovie,characters put on Ghostface’s costume and kill peoplearound them until their identity is discovered by the protagonists. TheScreammovies have become very popular over the years, with many fans considering it to be the best slasher franchise in the world, enjoying it more than classics such asHalloween,The Texas Chain Saw Massacre,A Nightmare on Elm Street, andFriday the 13th.

The most recent film in the series, which is also calledScream, released earlier this year on January 14th. Seeing as how the movie is going to be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on April 5th, it is a great time forGhostfaceto become playable inAmong Us.
A trailer for Ghostface coming toAmong Uswas uploaded on Paramount Movies' YouTube channel. In it, footage from the movies is seen as Ghostface says, “Would you like to play a game?” Fans then get to see what Ghostface looks like inAmong Us. While Ghostface’s costume is black in theScreammovies, players will be able to switch the color, with some options being pink, blue, and red.Among Usgameplay is then shown as Ghostface runs around with Crewmates and kills them when there isn’t anyone else around. At the end of the trailer, an image of Ghostface’s design in the game is seen with text reading “Ghostface was ejected.ScreamxAmong Us,” followed by the cover of the new movie announcing that it will be available on Blu-ray on April 5th.
Seeing as how theScreammovies have so much in common withAmong Usas they are both murder mysteries that have received a lot of success in their media, it’s great that players of the game will be able to take on the form of Ghostface. Othericonic slasher villainslike Michael Myers, Chucky, and Freddy Krueger will hopefully become playable inAmong Usas well.
