When it comes to cosplayingThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, there are so many different types of characters to choose from. Some of the most awesomeSkyrimcosplay designshave been jaw-droppingly good, capturing the very essence that makes the world of Tamriel such a fan favorite. Now, a fan has added to the list with yet another impressive piece of homemade cosplay that captures the image of a particular warrior from the game.
Posting to Reddit a day ago, user u/Wasteland-Messiah uploaded a single image showing hisSkyrimcosplay, in which he dons the garbs of a Stormcloak rebel. The image is completed with the user looking off-camera in a pensive manner, while holding a lit torch at night. With the long, flowing hair as an added bonus, this cosplay is a shining example of what a Stormcloak warrior would possibly look like in real life. Other users on Reddit have showered the cosplay creator with praise for the accuracy, as well as inundating him with plenty ofSkyrimImperials vs. Stormcloaks playful rhetoric.

Fans of the 2011 epic game will already be familiar with the rebel that u/Wasteland-Messiah has dressed as. But for those who are perhaps less familiar with the lore, the Stormcloaks are a rebellious group who fight against the world’s Imperial Legion, which has lead to a civil war and forms a huge part of the game’s main quest. Their leader isUlfrich Stormcloak who was put on trial for murdering the High Kingusing the power of the Thu’um.
Recently, another user was able to show off their skills in creatingSkyim-based cosplay outfits. A fan who goes by the name ofDarthKweeva also posted to Reddit recently in which they showed off their Lydia costume. Where this one differs to Wasteland-Messiah’s efforts is this Lydia outfit consists mostly of body painted armor, but is still an impressive cosplay which befits the image of this famous, or infamous,Skyrimcompanion.
WithElder Scrolls 6still currently in the design stages, fans are still getting a lot of mileage out of the fifth installment. Fan mods and cosplay outfits are a testament to the love the community has for this fantasy RPG series, as well as evidence of many people’s talents. WithElder Scrolls 5now ten years old, it’s impressive that people are still getting so much joy from the game, and it arguably begs the question of what else fans can create.
