The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimis more than just a video game. It’s pretty much become a meme at this point. The “arrow to the knee” quoteis one of the most famous one-liners in recent gaming history. It’s partly why the epic RPG has stood the test of time, despite it being more than a decade old and continuing to be re-released by the developer. Among many other things, the open world title is also known for the delicious-looking desserts known as sweetrolls. So well known are they, that one player has decided they can’t get enough of them.
Uploading a screenshot to theSkyrimSubreddit recently, user TNWODISCIPLE has made it their mission to fill a whole room entirely with sweetrolls. The image shows just how many they’ve managed to pile on so far. When asked in the comments, the original poster said that they “found” the sweetrolls, which suggests that they manually sought them out and placed them in the room, rather than using PC console commands to get the job done quicker. That in itself makes the feat even more impressive.

Sweetrolls are known in the Fallout games, as well asElder Scrolls. Their history goes back pretty much to the start, in which players inArena, the firstElder Scrollsgame which was released way back in 1994, are asked a character-building question related to the sticky-looking treats. This kind of question carried over into subsequent entries in the series, before making an appearance in 2008’sFallout 3after Bethesda took over as developer. This food item is so popular, that is has transended, leaving the digital world of Tamriel and finding a place in reality.
Last year, one fan actually made sweetrolls in real life, taking care to verify they resembled the ones inSkyrim. If there’s one thing that can be sure of when it comes toSkyrim’s fan base, it’s that it’s full of dedicated individuals, whether they are baking their own sweetrolls or filling a room with them. In any case, sweetrolls are here to stay.
It also proves justhow much of a memeSkyrimhas become. Impatient fans may be waiting for news about the nextElder Scrollsgame, but the fact that TNWODISCIPLE and many others are still finding new things to amuse themselves in-game, shows that at more than yen-years-old at this point, the open world epic game is still something of a juggernaut, even when players are doing comical things.
