Stormfall, the game’s latest major update, brings two new episodes to play through, “Blue Shift,” and “The Calling.” Kate Mulgrew reprises her role asJaneway fromStar Trek: Voyageralong with Mary Wiseman who portrays Cadet Tilly and her mirror universe counterpart, Captain “Killy” fromDiscovery.Star Trek:Deep Space Nine’s Chase Masterson returns as Admiral Leeta from the mirror universe along withDS9costar Aron Eisenberg as Captain Nog. The Heart of the Storm event will see players battling through an updated, screen-accurate version of Deep Space Nine featuring new cutscenes, enemies, and reworked boss mechanics in the new Forged In Fire Task Force Operation.
Along with the new story content is the addition of the California Class starship from theLower Decks animated serieswhich can be found in Infinity Lockboxes. Other items from the show such as the Mandatory Medical Treatment rifle and Scorpion Cube are available on the Lobi Store. The tutorial experience for newly created 2409 Starfleet characters has also been revamped with a polished tutorial, UI, improved cutscenes, and better mission flow. Also with the update is the return of the Delta Recruitment event, where players can start new characters which will unlock account-wide rewards as they make progress.
Thanks to the revamped tutorial experience and the Delta Recruitment event, now is a great time for returning players or curious gamers to dive into the game and explore the final frontier, especially since the game is considered one of thebest free-to-play MMOs.
