Very recently,Star Wars: Huntersuploaded a new trailer on YouTube, and this time, the cinematic footage provides a sneak peek on how the different characters move and interact within the game’s battle arena setting.
Star Wars: Hunterswas first introduced to the public during theNintendo Direct last February. During that time, a very brief teaser trailer for the game was released In the trailer, the game’s title was revealed alongside the initial lineup of characters. Since then, the title’s official website has been updated with a variety of information. Players now have access to the names and backgrounds of the different characters, while updates about the game’s development such as the new cinematic trailer are also shared on the same online platform.

On the official Nintendo YouTube channel, a two-minute video was shared by theStar Wars: Huntersdevelopment team. The video provides a stunning showcase of the weapons, tactics, and interactions between each of the available characters as they battle it out in the game’s setting called The Arena. Given that themultiplayer gameplay is meant to be team-basedwith four members per squad, seeing how each individual character moves and fights against each other will be important in drawing player interest to the video game. The trailer ends with a snapshot of where the battles' location will be, hinting that several arenas are located in just one planet in the franchise’s vast universe.
Unfortunately, nothing in theStar Wars: Hunterstrailer footage reveals how the gameplay will be done in real-time exactly. Interested players likely have to wait longer to see more details about the actual in-game experience, given that the title was only announced early this 2021. Fans will also likely notice that theinitial launch date ofStar Wars: Huntershas been moved from 2021 to 2022, with no particular release period announced officially by the development team.
