Stardew Valleyis host to a ton of different characters, butSebastianmay be one that sticks out the most to some people. Misunderstood and a bit of a loner, plenty of players find themselves empathizing or maybe even relating to him on some level. However, with his habit of sitting in his bedroom (with that locked door always sitting in the way!) and disappearing right when the player most wants to seek him out, it can be hard forStardew Valleyplayers to figure out how to get close to him.
Worry not, though! In this guide, we’ll share all the tips and tricks on where players can find Sebastian and how best tobuild up a friendship— and perhaps even a romance — with him.

The Best Gifts For Sebastian
As with allStardew Valleycharacters, Sebastian is a big fan of receiving gifts (as long as he likes them, that is). Luckily for the player, Sebastian’s liked and loved gifts are pretty on theme for him, mostly focusing on some of the darker and edgier items players can discoverdeep in the mines.
Unluckily for newer players, it might be hard to get their hands on items he really loves, and he tends to have a big list of disliked forage items that are much easier to find in the early game. Still, players will hopefully be able to find something to give to him on this list!

Movie Theater: Sebastian’s Favorites
Pelican Town’s brand-new Movie Theater wasadded toStardew Valleywith Update 1.4, and it has become a staple of many players' playthroughs. The Theater is great because of how effective it is in helping players' raise the friendship levels of their favorite characters. If you bring a specific character along to a screening of a movie they enjoy, you’ll get a ton of heart points with them. This will only increase if you buy them a snack they like, too, so it’s definitely worth taking advantage of!
If players would like to invite Sebastian to see a movie, all they have to do is head to the Movie Theater and buy a ticket for 1,000g. After buying the ticket, go find Sebastian andgive the ticket to him. Then, head back to the Movie Theater at any time on the same day to meet Sebastian there.

Sebastian’s Heart Events
Here’s how to trigger each of Seb’s heart events when the number of hearts with him is reached:
What Happens After Marrying Sebastian?
After marrying Sebastian, he’ll move into the farmhouse tolive alongside the player. As well as this, he will add a small room to the right of the farmhouse, complete with a computer and some of his favorite artwork. He’ll also create a space behind the farmhouse where he’ll set up his motorcycle, and he can often be found there, working on it.
Aftermarrying the player, on some mornings, Sebastian may gift his partnerCoffee. On rainy days, he may gift the player something from ‘the caves,’ includingAmethyst,Bat Wing,Cave Carrot,Frozen Tear,Obsidian, andVoid Essence. On Winter 28 (New Year’s Eve), he will give the player aBeerto celebrate the New Year.

Sebastian Schedule Stardew Valley
Compared to other characters, Sebastian’s schedule can besurprisingly complex, featuring a lot of specific days when his schedule suddenly changes, or when the players' relationship with him will dictate where he is and what he’s doing. At the very least, his schedule is still relatively easy to memorize since it mostly repeats from month to month, but it may be worth making notes of the days on which his schedule suddenly changes.
If the player has unlocked the Ginger Island Beach Resort, Sebastian may head there randomly on any day except festival dates and his annual health checkup. If he does go to the Resort, he’ll leave and head home to bed at 6:00 PM.
