Summary
One faction players will quickly become acquainted with inStarfieldis the Trade Authority. This group of interstellar officers regulates the trade within the system, and will also offer a number of delivery jobs via Mission Boards throughout the game’s major settlements. The primary use of the Trade Authority is to offload excess goods for cash. It can be great for reaping huge fortunes after collecting 10 assault rifles and 20 bottles of wine after each mission. In addition to this, the organization has a shady reputation and will often turn a blind eye tothe sale of stolen goods.

In addition to the smaller kiosks which can usually be found near the landing pad of a settlement’s Spaceport, The Trade Authority has larger buildings within the cities themselves, often leading to more quests and interesting stories. For the more criminal-minded players, these locations can also be looted, though typically the contents of these areas are rather dull and include shipments of food and materials rather thantop-tier weaponry.
6New Atlantis
The Trade Authority is one of the older institutions present in New Atlantis, and as a result, its base is located in The Well. This slum-like district of New Atlantis certainly isn’t on the postcards, but a number of useful amenities can be found here including the Medical Center andHouse of the Enlightened.
The district can be found by entering the various elevators scattered throughout the city, which will enable players to travel there. The Trade Authority building can be found by following the main path forward, past the Eastern-style restaurant named Kay’s House. Following this, turn right and the Trade Authority building should be hard to miss.

5The Den
The Den is a small space station hanging in orbit around the planet Chthonia in the Wolf star system. This outpost is key ascontraband can be taken in and out of the systemwith no scanning from authorities. Players with contraband around the Cheyenne/Alpha Centauri region should offload it here first to avoid fines and imprisonment.

The Trade Authority runs a small and discreet kiosk on the station, which can be found on the left after walking through the main entranceway. Players can also sell stolen items to the vendor, which is handy to know considering many merchants in the larger cities will not accept these items.
4Cydonia
Cydonia is a mining outpost on the planet Mars, in the"Old World" star system of Sol. Unlike the majority of mining outposts, Cydonia is almost like a mini city in itself and has a relatively large population along with a variety of quests and activities for players to engage with.
The Trade Authority outpost in Cydonia can be found by following the main walkway all the way down the ramp, where it is hidden away in a small building on the right-hand side. Like many other points of interest in Cydonia, the door is not particularly well signed, though the yellow banner of the Trade Authority should be clearly visible through the open door.

3Akila City
Akila City is the capital settlement of the libertarian Freestar Collective. This breakaway colony was founded by Solomon Coe 150 years prior toStarfield’s story and features perhaps some of the most interesting quests and locations in the Settled Systems.
RELATED:Starfield: How To Get A Home In Akila City
Somewhere between a Wild West town andTatooine fromStar Wars, Akila City’s Trade Authority building can be found quite easy since it is located behind The Hitching Post, a bar right near the main entrance of Akila City and the Galbank, which players will become familiar with as soon as they set foot in the city. Players can also find Lardeo Firearms, one of the best weapons dealers in the game, in very close proximity to the Trade Authority building.
2Neon
The Trade Authority building in Neon is one of the easiest to locate and is found in the Ikuchi Market district of town. Players can find this almost immediately upon exiting throughNeon’s main Spaceport entrance. It’s hard to miss the bright yellow advertising board above the front entrance.
The main man to speak to here is Kolman Lang, though he is not the friendliest or most welcoming character. Despite the number of loot crates throughout the building, it is really not worth stealing from them since all they contain is basic foods. In addition to this, players can find a variety of useful buildings nearby including Newill’s Goods and the Ryujin Industries Headquarters.

1The Key
to gain access to The Key, players will first have to complete the mission Deep Cover, which requires players to first be arrested by the United Colonies before they will offer an infiltration mission aboard the Crimson Fleet base.
Getting in won’t be easy, and it is a fairly lengthy process involving several quests in order to gain the trust of thesenotorious space pirates. Once inside, though, The Key has many facilities akin to the other settlements, which include a Trade Authority kiosk.

Starfieldis available now on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
