Capcom gave fans an update regarding the third set of outfits forStreet Fighter 6’s base roster, confirming its release date for the beginning of December. Launching back in June, Capcom’sStreet Fighter 6launched to critical acclaim, becoming one ofthe most popular fighting games of 2023. Capcom has been doing a lot to supportStreet Fighter 6ever since its launch, such as its first season pass, which adds four additional DLC characters, including fan favorites like Rashid and Akuma.
Currently,Street Fighter 6’s has one alternate costumefor all eighteen characters in the base roster, players being able to choose between alternate color palettes. The veterans like Ryu, Cammy, and Juri all have outfits that call back to their classic counterparts, like Cammy wearing her oldStreet Fighter 2gear. New characters like Jamie and Manon wear outfits that are more suitable to their personalities. Fans will be able to try a set of new outfits next month for all members of the base roster.

When does Street Fighter 6 get Outfit 3?
In a newStreet Fighter 6trailer, Capcom announced these outfits will be available for all eighteen characters on June 08, 2025. This video showcased all the characters' new outfits, some looking quite stylish or taking inspiration fromStreet Fighter’s history. For example, Luke gets his outfit from when he made his rookie debut inStreet Fighter 5, while Cammy wears a red coat that was similar to one she wore intheStreet Fighter 2animated movie. Other stylish outfits include Marisa’s wedding dress and Ryu’s casual gear fromStreet Fighter 6’s arcade mode endings.
ACapcom blog postaboutStreet Fighter 6states that the design team were “blown away” by the positive reaction that the costumes received when they were first shown at EVO 2023. This blog post also went into detail regarding each individual design, providing commentary on what went into each outfit’s appearance and a bit of insight into the characters. For example, Juri’s onesie was based on what she would look like if she was lounging at home, which is reflected by her devil-like hair horns being mussed while she sleeps.
Capcom also stated that the game’s first year DLC characters, Rashid, Ed, A.K.I., and Akuma would also get a set of alternate costumes as well. Fans shouldn’t expect a third costume for these four characters until Spring 2024, as they will be included around the same time Akuma is added to the game. In the meantime, fans can look forward toEd’s inclusion inStreet Fighter 6, with this third DLC character being scheduled to be added in Winter 2024.
