Fans of Bandai Namco’s long-runningTekkenfranchise will get even more out of its current entryTekken 7with the release of its fourth season pass. After revealingTekken 7Season Pass 4’s trailer in September, the Tekken Project team officially narrowed down its previously vague fall 2020 release date today, and players can get their hands on its contents soon.

The next season pass will officially begin rolling out on November 10, according to a tweet from the officialTekkensocial media account. Its first set of additions include the “Manji Ninja Arts” user Kunimitsu as a playable fighter with at least three unique costumes, marking herfirst appearance sinceTekken 2in 1995; as well as a Japanese-themed stage called Vermilion Gates.

There will also be a number of updates available to all players starting November 9. AllTekken 7fighters are receiving new moves and balance changes, menus and in-match health bars will get updated UIs, and the team is focused on enhancing online play for the fighting game first released in 2015. Players will also be able to work their way up to a new rank called “Tekken God Omega.”

Another highlight inTekken 7’s Season Pass 4 trailer today is content celebratingPac-Man’s 40th anniversary, including a themed arena stage with a statue of the arcade icon in the background, as well as exclusive items such as an equippable t-shirt, plushies, and UI skins. Other major names have celebratedPac-Man’s anniversary this year, from virtual bandThe Gorillaz releasing aPac-Mansong and music videoto Hasbro creating a version ofMonopolyfeaturing an arcade cabinet.

At the end of the trailer, the Tekken Project team also confirms that the second part of this season pass including another new character and stage will be released in spring 2021.Bandai Namco’s roadmap forTekken 7Season 4 was leakedprior to its official announcement, but now that it is preparing to start fans are getting a better idea of when they can expect more.

Luckily for the developer, there are undoubtedly a lot of fans ready to get their hands on more fighting game content. In September, Series Director Katsuhiro Harada announcedTekkenhas collectively sold 50 million copies, and over six million of those sales have been forTekken 7. Time will tell whether a fourth season pass will cause those numbers to climb even higher.
