There is nothing inherently special about Fatebringer, other than the fact that it’s a classic from the early years. Nostalgia aside, Fatebringer does hold up rather well, but the problem comes from thelack of crafting, meaning players are going to have to run the Vault of Glass raid and hope that RNG is on their side. If it is, then they can expect a highly stable Hand Cannon that has a great ammo count and is capable of rapid explosions and extended damage.

Rufus’s Fury holds strong as one of the best Auto Rifles inDestiny 2, yet it might be a tad underrated due to the fact that there is already such a wide selection in this category. Nonetheless, Rufus’s Fury deserves a place of recognition, not only for its Hatchling potential as a Strand Auto-Rifle, but for its high damage, supportable recoil, and ammo count. Rufus’s Fury is going to be a great ally when it comes to clearing out ads, and can even hold its own as a backup against Champions and other beastly enemies thanks to consistent damage and fire rate.

A Fusion Rifle with decent range, and one in the Kinetic slot. It’s hard not to love Deliverance, especially when it has such a unique appearance that fits with the theme of Vow of the Disciple. Looks aside, Deliverance holds up well, even when other Kinetic Stasis Fusion Rifles have entered the scene. With perks like Demolitionist, players can really up the mayhem by giving themselves increased grenade energy, allowing themgreat synergy with Stasis buildsto freeze and shatter everything with a pull of the trigger and a throw of a grenade.

For the melee fans out there, Swordbreaker might quickly become a must-have. If players want to keep their streak of melee attacks and explosions going, then the Origin Trait found with Swordbreaker is essential, since it means final blows with this Shotgun will cause enemies to explode after use of a melee attack. That, paired with Pugilist, One-Two Punch, and the right Fragments and Aspects on certain builds, makes a melee-spamming god of its wielder. Alternatively, it’s a great lightweight Shotgun for overall quick-fire use.

Not only did Pulse Rifles receive a whopping damage buff for PvE in The Final Shape’s update, but the unique two-round burst makes for a quickening ad-killing machine. This Pulse Rifle almost has the range of a Scout Rifle and the output of an Auto Rifle, making it a desirable weapon indeed.

Hand Cannons are always a solid choice for players. They look cool and feel great, which is exactly why a craftable Zaouli’s Bane is a must-have. Compared to other Hand Cannons, Zaouli’s Bane might feel a tad heavier, but the explosive potential of its perks is where it comes into clutch. With other Guardians, players can overflow their magazine, allowing for more rapid and hard-hitting shots to be fired. It’s a classic weapon that can create plenty of fiery explosions, just be mindful of the slow reload.

Grenade Launchers are great for bursts of damage, but Energy Slot Grenade Launchers are somewhat given a bad name. Luckily, Forbearance comes into play to revolutionize this weapon type, as its Wave Frame model allows for a chain reaction of kills against a plethora of ads. Whilst this is great when surrounded, the Origin Trait means players will heal back all they have lost with a simple reload after a few kills. With the right perks, players can easilykill their way through Darknesswith high speed and easy heals.

Few Rocket Launchers have the ability to become an absolute hero when it comes to the Legendary category. With Apex Predator, players not only synergize perfectly with Gjallahorn for extra damage but with the right perks, players can delete chunks of health from endgame bosses with ease. Apex Predator is a powerful Rocket Launcher in its own right, but the array of different perks allows such an increase of damage that there’s no point using an Exotic Rocket Launcher when a god roll of the Apex Predator awaits.
