These new seeds are a little different and are all entirely suited to playing ONI in survival mode. They are new, player-friendly, and offer an easy point of entry with access to important resources very close to the starting area. They also have neighboring asteroids that become exploitable in the later game stages. It can be tough to find good ONI map seeds, and the ones on this list can help solve this problem.

Massive Ice Biome
This is an interesting map seed forOxygen Not Included. It is a little different from all of the others on this list, and it has been included because of the easy access it provides to a truly huge ice biome. However, it must be said that a little exploration and expansion will be required to exploit this biome.
Right next to the starting area are two steam vents in one place. This basically means instant access to a lot of steam, which, of course, also means the player has an immediate source of water. There is also a radioactive swamp asteroid close by, which is always useful. Distant asteroids include a superconductive asteroid, a marshy asteroid, and a tundra asteroid. It will take some time before the player can exploit these, but once they can, these will be a rich source of resources.

Instant Access To Natural Gas
This map seed forOxygen Not Includedis of interest mainly because the player will gain access to a natural gas geyser almost immediately. There is a natural gas geyser directly below the starting position. This opens up the possibility of getting a natural gas generator up and running very quickly.
This seed also has a steam geyser just to the left of the starting position, which means instant access to steam, which can then be turned into water. And as with most goodONImap seeds, there is a radioactive swamp asteroid close by. Overall, this is a seed that offers a solid start in Survival Mode. The distant asteroids include a tundra asteroid and a marshy asteroid, which will also become useful later in the game.

Lots Of Gas And Steam
This seed forOxygen Not Includedhas been added to this list for a very simple reason: It grants access to plenty of natural gas and steam right from the start. With just a little exploration, the player will discover two natural gas geysers and two steam vents very close to the starting point of the map.
There is a radioactive swamp asteroid close by, which also has the metal-rich trait, and this is going to be a fantastic source of resources once the player can access them. The distant asteroids include a marshy asteroid and a tundra asteroid. Later in the game, when the player can reach them, they will be very useful indeed.

Pokeshells Abound
This is a fantastic seed to start a new game ofOxygen Not Included. The closest starting asteroid is a radioactive swamp map. This is a bit of a tricky map to get to grips with, and it doesn’t give as much power output as other maps with the radioactive feature. However, it can support the entire pokeshells manufacturing chain.
Other great features of this map seed included 4 natural gas, cool slush, polluted water vent, 2 salt water, 2 cool steam, chlorine,1 aluminum, 2 gold, 1 minor volcano, 1 hot polluted oxygen, and 3 oil wells. These are all very useful resources in thisresource management style game.

Direct Passage To Cold Biome
Another map seed that starts with a nearby radioactive swamp asteroid. These can be useful for boosting power output, although there are better asteroids for producing power. One of the best benefits of this ONI seed is that there is a large number of Hatch on this map. And with this many Hatch, it means there will be plenty of free coal available to collect.
Other features of this seed include a steam geyser, as well as water. One major benefit is that it offers a pretty direct route to the cold biome, without contracting Slimelung.

Possible Risk Of Slimelung
The thirdOxygen Not Includedgame seedhere starts with a nearby radioactive swamp asteroid. And although this isn’t the best asteroid to have close, it isn’t the worst either. However, players need to be aware that there is a potential risk of Slimelung, due to how much slime is around on this map. But it is worth the risk.
Other great features of this seed included plenty of copper, and also some water, and a natural gas geyser. There are caverns of polluted O2 downwards, and an oil reserve beneath these.

Plenty Of Metal Near The Start
Once again, this seed has a close radioactive swamp asteroid close by. It is surprising how many great map seeds have this as a primary feature. Many players seem to prefer this kind of asteroid close at hand, even though there are, on paper, better ones.
However, this radioactive swamp asteroid is metal-rich, and this is a big bonus for this map. Otheruseful resourceson this map include a slush geyser, a gold geyser, and a minor volcano. A useful combination, especially during the mid-game.

An Oil Well And An Iron Volcano
This ONI seed has the usual radioactive swamp asteroid nearby. TheOxygen Not Includedcommunity seems to prefer this type of asteroid to be available at the start of a new game. A great bonus for this map seed is that there is both an oil well and an iron volcano available almost from the start of thisopen-world game.
Other resources on this map include 2 steam vents, a polluted water geyser, a chlorine geyser, and polluted oxygen. These are all very useful resources at the start of a new game as well.

All The Oil You Need
Once again, the usual radioactive swamp asteroid is close to the starting point with this map seed. But what makes this map seed special, is the fact that there are two leaky oil fissures very close to the start. This is an incredibly useful resource to get your game off to a great beginning.
Other resources abound on this map. This includes 2 cold steam vents, both an iron and a chlorine volcano, polluted oxygen, and natural gas. These are all very valuable starting resources, making this a very good ONI seed.

Two Copper Volcanoes At The Start
As usual, there is a radioactive swamp asteroid close by. Most good ONI map seeds have this feature. But what really sets this seed apart from others, is that it has two very useful copper volcanoes at the start. This is just about perfect for the start of this resourcemanagement game.
There is a profusion of other useful resources given by this seed as well. A natural gas geyser, chlorine gas vent, iron volcano, cool slush geyser, hydrogen vent, 2 cool steam vents, and polluted water. This is a huge volume of resources.
