In video games, there are dozens of incredible bosses that players are sure to encounter whilst on their journey. Many of these bosses will serve as formidable adversaries, and become engrained in the players mind.
Not every boss fight will have one opponent however, as some of the most memorable of boss battles feature multiple, tough opponents. These battles can be unforgiving in difficulty, but are designed in such a way that players can eventually overcome them. Often these multi enemy boss fights will feature different characters with unique complimenting skill sets, so players should be well-prepared to adapt in order to take each of them down.

For players able to make it far enough to encounter Theseus and the Minotaur, they are in for a well-balanced battle against two enemies whose strategies complement each other perfectly, and the battle itself is not the most challenging.
Players should attempt to deal with the Minotaur first,as his rampant charges and general in-your-face attack stylecan cause players to lose focus of Theseus and take damage from him. If players target the Minotaur first, Theseus will then be left all on his own. For those playing a ranged playstyle with the bow, the utilization of pillars can make this encounter much easier.

For many fans ofOcarina of Time, the duo fight of Kotake and Koume is one of the best among all the original sage dungeon temple battles. Not only do players see a building story amongst Kotake, Koume and other characters such as Nabooru, they also get to see the level of devotion the duo are willing to go to just to appease their king, Ganondorf.
The fight itself at the end of the Spirit Temple is nothing short of satisfying. Players get to put their newly acquired mirror shield to the test, wielding this against the twin witches and using their elements of fire and ice against each other. This culminates into an epic second phase transition, by which the two align as one and form into Twinrova,a more formidable version of the pairwho has both fire and ice at her disposal. Players must do as they have done before, use the mirror shield to swing the odds back into their favor, and take down the evil witches Kotake and Koume once and for all.

For players strong enough to defeat the Wall of Flesh and make it into Hardmode inTerraria, they should not expect an easy ride with some of the next few bosses that they will need to take down to progress. One of these bosses, The Twins, is required to be fought as part of the three mechanical bosses progression needed to then take down Plantera, and this fight for new players is far from easy.
Spazmatism is the faster twin, who prefers to get up close with and use powerful cursed flames. Retanizer tails behind with range, spamming high damaging lasers that can easily bring the player down if they lose momentum or slow down too much. One of the best ways to manipulate this battle into the players favor is to use gravitational potions, which when used effectively, will leave adequate distance between the player and the twins to deal considerable damage.

Found at the bottom of the Abyss and only available to enter after acquiring the Covenant of Artorias' ring from Sif at Artorias' grave, The Four Kings are a fairly difficult encounter that will leave players questioning the fairness of having to fight four enemies at once.
What makes the fight difficult is the fact that jf players do not deal with each king in good time, another king will spawn after a set period, and it’s entirely possible to face all Four Kings at once. Players should focus one king, dealing damage quickly so that four of them are not facing the player in the arena at one given time.

The Watcher Knights can serve as a troublesome opponent for players as they are encountered very early on. It becomes apparent moments into the fight that there are six Watcher Knights that will need to be eliminated in order to win the fight, and doing so is not so straightforward.
Players should relish in the fact that only two of the Watcher Knights can be active at one time, so the fight is not as impossible as one might imagine from a first glance. With fast spinning attacks that can come from either side, with insufficient upgrades or lack of spells, their attacks can be deceivingly difficult to judge and counter. Players should look to discover the secret chandelier that can be accessed at the top left of the room before the boss fight. Doing so can remove one of the Watcher Knights from the fight entirely, as the chandelier will fall from above and kill it instantly.

Serving as the penultimate battle in the main story, the Twin Princes, Lothric and Lorian, are a pretty difficult fight, namely due to the differences between the duo’s unpredictable fighting style and the ways in which they support one another throughout the duration of the battle.
Prince Lothric supports his brother with magic and a brilliant mind, resting on his older brothers shoulders as his own body is week and feeble. Lorian has a more animalistic design, crawling on all fours and not capable of speaking. Together, with both of their unique abilities and traits, they make for a devastating pair that can easily cause the player to panic roll to an eventual death.

3Mantis Lords (Hollow Knight)
The Mantis Lords are three formidable enemies that the player will encounter during thr early stages of the game in the Mantis Village. They seek to deem the player worthy enough to continue, and the fighting effort they put on display together is an unforgettable battle, that will test the players' prowess.
First the player must fight one of the Lords on their own, and then the player must take on two of them at once. The battle is one of the most enjoyable battles in the entire game, and the upbeat battle theme ensures players feel gratified as they work towards conquering the Mantis Lords. When they are defeated, they bow as a sign of respect, allowing the player to continue onward on their journey. In the DLC, Godhome, players looking for an additional swing on this battle can fight an enhanced version of the trio, the Sisters of Battle. In this version of the fight, players must take on all three of the Mantis Lords at once, so it is much advised to be ready for a somewhat difficult, exciting battle.

The soundtrack for this boss fight is an unreal melody of orchestral greatness, perfectly encapsulating the grandeur of Anor Londo and its architecture. Those who are able to take down the fearsome duo will be able to bask in the glory of victory, knowing they were able to take on two of the most formidable in all ofDark Souls.

1Abyss Watchers (Dark Souls III)
The Abyss Watchers boss battle is one of the best multi-enemy battles in all of Soulsborne. Not only are players forced into a fight with three formidable enemies, but the Abyss Watchers consistently fight each other, consumed by the spreading Abyss from which they sought desperately to contain.
As the Abyss Watchers are undead, when they fall, they are never truly beaten, only stopped momentarily before they can rise once more. This in turn would lead to them sworn to do battle for perpetuity, by which the only caveat to beating them is to deal substantial damage to all the Abyss Watchers, which will cause their shared soul to be significantly depleted. In their second phase, the Abyss Watchers rise no longer as a group, choosing to take on the form of only one Abyss Watcher, who is far more powerful than the others, and has a fresh health bar and extended skillset. The theme for this battle is one of the best in the entire franchise, and paired with the somber, chiming bells that ring at regular intervals, players are in for an incredible battle that they are sure to never forget.
