The Mediumdeveloper Bloober Team teases one of the game’s “super secret” features. Bloober Team showed fans a new trailer for horror gameThe Mediumyesterday at theXbox Series X gameplay reveal event.
Speaking to Eurogamer,The Medium’s lead designer Wojciech Piejko was asked why it has taken Bloober Team so long to show the game again after it was first announced for PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii U in 2012. Piejko revealed that only “next-gen horsepower” has givenThe Mediumdevelopment team the tools it needed to create the game in the way that it wanted, which is why it has had to wait so long. The developer also said that next-gen tech has allowed the team to add “super secret feature” to the game, which “something to do with how the worlds interact with each other.”

For horror fans who like whatThe Mediumseems to be doing with its real-world and spirit world gameplay sections, this will only make them more excited for the game. Bloober Team has also confirmed thatSilent Hillcomposer Akira Yamaoka will be working on the game. However, the feature could also give gamers areason to buy the Xbox Series X. It has been confirmed thatThe Mediumis an Xbox Series X console exclusive. While it will be available on PC, it won’t be on any other consoles. By offering a surprising gameplay feature, it could show gamers why the Xbox Series X is such a great console and make them want to run to the store to buy one.
It’s unclear when Bloober Team plans to reveal gameplay that shows this feature. The Xbox 20/20 plan, where Xbox will be holding severalXbox Series X events, means that fans could see it again in a couple of months though this hasn’t been officially confirmed. The Medium does have a 2020 release date though meaning that fans may not have to wait long to get to see it.
