Sims' jealousy triggers can also be adapted if their partners negotiate and converse about their boundaries. How to Become Romantic Partners
Completing the second requirement of the Paragon Partner aspiration inThe Sims 4involves having two or more partners. Whether Sims have these partners simultaneously or at different times in their lives is entirely up to the player and the narrative they’d like to create.
To begin, games have to make sure that the Sim meets and introduces themselves to potential romantic interests. Then, the Sims have to engage in friendly and romantic interactions, plan first dates, and perform initial romantic gestures like flirting, complimenting appearance, and offering roses to build a solid foundation.
Once the introductory steps are complete, the couple has been on a date, and the romance bar reaches at least 30 percent, a Sim can ask another Sim to be their partner. Repeat this process with additional Sims to meet the aspiration’s requirement. Balancing multiple relationships can be challenging, so it’s essential to manage time and interactions carefully to maintain high romance levels with each partner.
How to Reach Very Satisfied Relationship Status
Achieving a Very Satisfied relationship status inThe Sims 4is a critical step in fulfilling the Paragon Partner aspiration. In order to do so,players must ensure that Sims and their romantic partner are highly compatible. Use the Relationship social menu to ask about romantic boundaries, attraction, and relationship satisfaction. Understanding and matching a partner’s turn-ons and turn-offs (which can be edited in Create-A-Sim under preferences) is essential to boosting relationship satisfaction.
To meet the requirement twice, focus on developing two relationships where both partners are highly attracted to each other. This status can either be achieved on the first date or developed over time for a morerealistic romantic storyline.
As a reward for achieving Very Satisfied status within a relationship, the romance bar will slowly increase over time, autonomously.
How to Go on Dates
To fulfill the final requirement of this aspiration,Sims must go on three dates with a partner. To do this, players have to ask the desired Sim on a date with the “Ask on a Date” option. This action will take your Sims out into the world on a date. Alternatively, selecting “Ask to Create a Date” gives players more customization options, allowing them to choose from different types of dates such as a Get to Know You Date, a Romantic Date, or a Romantic Repair Date.
For those who prefer to plan ahead, dates can also be added as events on the calendar.
Planning these types of dates is similar to organizing weddings with theMy Wedding Storiespack. Players have to define the roles of the host, their date, and any additional guests who may be accompanying them. Then, they must choose specific activities for Sims to partake in, such as playing board games, dancing, or swimming.
Once the activities and the location have been chosen, the Sims will be teleported to the date venue.To achieve gold on dates and earn rewards, players need to keep a close eye on the main objective and smaller goals, which align with the chosen date type and activities.
Completion Reward
For completing the Paragon Partner aspiration inThe Sims 4, players will earn their Sim the Affection Aficionado trait. Sims with this reward trait experience slower romantic relationship loss, making it significantly easier to maintain romantic connections and removingthe need for relationship cheats. This means players won’t have to work as hard to keep their Sims' relationships from decaying over time, allowing for more effortless management of multiple romantic relationships.
