The Sims 4players can now acquire the Grunge Revival Create-a-Sim kit and the Book Nook Build Mode kit.The Sims 4has undoubtedly entered its final stage as a game. The Sims Team has started working on Project Rene, also known asThe Sims 5, and soon enough, its predecessor won’t be receiving any more patches or content updates.

Although the Growing Together expansion pack and the free Infants update were released not too long ago, the amount of DLC and content released for the game has definitely slowed down. Many even believe that Growing Together could be the last expansion pack forThe Sims 4. Kits seem to be the most common type of paid content released nowadays. These smaller packs cost $4.99, but usually only exclusively include CAS or Build Mode content and rarely contain new gameplay features. The Bust the Dust kit was one of the few kits to include gameplay additions forThe Sims 4.

To the community’s surprise,The Sims 4received two new kits on June 1, which were only announced two days earlier. The CAS-focused Grunge Revival kit is all about the laid-back grunge style, and it allows players to dress up their Sims in a completely different way, more fitting to their personalities. The clothes and accessories added with this kit are perfect for teenage rebels. The Book Nook Build kit is suitable for authors and bookworm Sims that enjoy a calm environment where they can sit back and enjoy their favorite books. This kit can helpSims 4players build a cozy homelibrary or simply give more variety to the clutter in a household.

Compared to the recently released Greenhouse Haven andBasement TreasureSims 4kits, these recent additions are definitely less niche and will resonate with more members of the community. Both of these kits are near complete opposites, so they will allow players to create widely different Sims and delve deeper into other sorts of fashion styles and home decor variations.

Fans who enjoy the type of content that kits bring to the table will be happy to know that there are more on the way. Recently, gamers were allowed tovote on their preferences for two upcomingSims 4kits. So far, there has only been one voting phase, and very little is known about the options that the developers are considering working on. Giving the community a say in the DLC thatThe Sims 4puts out is a great way to keep fans happy and to select which ideas are best for any upcoming content.

The Sims 4is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
